The hotel is very nice, staff is very friendly, clean rooms, spacious, is close to the city center, walking about 20 minutes, includes breakfast, if you are not a complicated person, and are not looking for amenities but a nice place to sleep this is the place for you

Should read reviews better. Had trouble finding this place as the locals had no idea. Got there only to find there on the 2nd floor & no porter on small stair lift but owner said it's not worth using as it only go's to 1st floor. We arrived at 4.30pm but rooms had not been all cleaned so ended up... More

If we are ever going to Florence again, we will definitely stay at Hotel Emma! The kind owners welcomed us as friends and made our stay of three nights very comfortable. The breakfast was great, the owners themselves offered delicious coffee and cappuccino. I really appreciate, that the rooms were silent, far off from loud city rumble - nevertheless, it... More

Pacinotti, 20, 50131 Florence, Italy I visited this hotel for three nights while interrailing in September 2013. Our original package (was for a double room and bathroom). We are writing this from our bed in room 7. We are sitting in absolute silence after our busy day as tourists. We are very pleased with our room and it has served our purpose well. We really wanted some place to sleep, shower and keep our luggage safe while we were out. What we found was a location that... More

I stayed here for two nights with a friend. The owners are very kind and accomidating. It is relatively small, about 10 rooms or so. The rooms weren't anything over the top but they were clean and cute. The breakfast area was nice, there was a general selection for Italy; crossant, pasteries, yogurt, cereal, and meats. They also used brand... More

The hotel itself was fine. Room was pleasant enough. Not really enough closet space but sufficient. Definitely didn't care for the inn keeper, not overly friendly or helpful. If your not given the ground rules it makes it extremely difficult to follow.

We stayed for 3 nights in this nice hotel. We stayed in econom room which is smaller than a standard one but had everything we needed (bathroom, air-conditioner, wi-fi). So I would recommend it as a great deal for econom and comfortable enough stay. The breakfast is standard for what we saw in other hotels in Italy (flakes, bakery, drinks),... More

Hotel Emma is a pleasant hotel for the price. The bus stops are very close by. The breakfast area is lovely and the food adequate and typical for Italy. It is great for younger travelers on a budget. I am 63 and have arthritis so the two flights of stairs to get to the hotel each day was a challenge.... More

This is a small owner-run establishement tucked away on the 2nd floor - but quite conveneintly located . The 17 bus from SMN actually has the hotel as a bus stop - besides the Duomo area is within a 10-15 min walk from here. Though we had bought the 10-pack bus tickets on arrival, we found that we really did... More
