waking distance to touristy places like Duomo. Very helpful, friendly staff. Clean room. Pretty good breakfast. (Good coffee!) The only downside was that the door bell was a bit too noisy. I'd love to go back to Firenze and stay at Hotell Emma again.

We spent 2 nights at Hotel Emma. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was basic but adequate. Outside patio was nice, beds were comfortable, staff was friendly. Very good value for the price. The only drawback was that it was a bit far from the city center and we had to take a bus into the city (bus... More

We had only a few days to make travel arrangements, and were happy to find an available room that we could afford in Florence to sleep 3. We enjoyed our stay. We left before breakfast to catch our train, but the pastries looked good! Our room was very clean, and the staff friendly. While not far from the train tracks,... More

The hotel is located ~20 walk to the center of Florence, maybe 30-40 minutes to further away sites. For the price, it was great to be within walking distance of all that Florence has to offer. The room itself was spacious and clean and equipped with AC , but the walls were thin and we could easily hear neighbors. Breakfast... More

We were very happy with our stay at hotel Emma, Domenico and his staff were friendly and very helpful with information on getting around Florence . The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast and the cappuccino every morning were perfect!! We highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Florence. Two wonderful restaurants right next door

Such a lovely hotel, the room was clean and comfortable the shower quality was good and the hair dryer and towels adequate, the owner was so kind and helpful, there was an air-conditioner in the room (which helped in June) There was a little terrace at the end of the hall for guests to sit out on with plenty of... The room was clean, with its own shower and toilet. Breakfast was nice - an array of juices, yogurt, and pastries. The best part about the hotel is the owner. He is extremely helpful with suggestions for sightseeing, directions, etc. The hotel is about a 30 minute walk from the center of old Firenze and the Duomo. The bus stop... More

I reserved a room at the Hotel Emma based on the very informative and factual information provided on TripAdvisor. It was all that people had claimed. I was able to get good information about the hotel from their website, and there were good instructions on how to get to the hotel from the railway station (Santa Maria Novella). When you... More

We liked the location. 20min. walking to the center. The room was really clean. The mattress was not comfortable at all. The room by the road is noisy. Toiletries were basic and the towels were not changed the first day. Good espresso but they could add something to the breakfast-cheese for example. The terrace was nice but if we wanted... More

Clean, spacious. Toilet was ample and sheets were clean. Owner was very gracious and took the time to explain how to get to the museums, transport and even parking. Only complaint was that the walls very thin, could hear the outside people walking and talking. Refrain from quarrelling with spouse or love making.
