I stayed here for two nights. Good wifi, Clean room, although I thought the bed was bit too hard. The staff was friendly and courteous. I also thought it was a bit far out from the city center however, this isn't too much of a problem. The bus stations are just outside the hotel.. Makes it very easy to go... More

Bed bugs. Woke up in the morning to a dead bed bug and a live one in the bed and bathroom. Large spots of my blood in the bed where they had been feasting on me during the night. They did refund our money however questionable if they truly knew how to get rid of them. Sweeping does not cut... More

Ok hotel, although I felt this was too far to walk into the main centre, approx. 30 minutes, and the streets are quiet confusing. The outdoor terrace was rather dirty. There was also a washing machine on the terrace! and the ashtrays and the bin were never emptied. The breakfast was good, and the hotel staff were very friendly and... More

Dear EmmaVolar, we thank you for your positive comment Emma Hotel. Our hotel is 15 minutes walk from the center. A bus stop is right in front of our entrance. Probably the terrace was in disarray due to bad weather just ended. The ashtray emptied them at least twice a day. Sorry for the temporary inconvenience. Near the hotel there... More

Very kind management, very helpful e.g. in case of health problems: The hotel manager went to a doctor with me in order to get an appointment and to translate. Good breakfast. Bus stop in front of the house. Very friendly and helpful, proper - very good price/performance ratio. English speaking.

Not having been to Florence before I was not aware of how far out of the main centre this was, which was a downside. We were also given a rather gloomy room with little imagination in furnishing, but it was clean and the en-suite was good. It's not the room they show you in the photos on the website! The... More

Stayed 3 nights at Hotel Emma. Very clean, staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was great and the cappachinos were tasty. Room was a nice size and they even had a plug adator in the room for us to use. You do have to go up 2 flights of stairs to get to the hotel. Close enough to walk to... More

waking distance to touristy places like Duomo. Very helpful, friendly staff. Clean room. Pretty good breakfast. (Good coffee!) The only downside was that the door bell was a bit too noisy. I'd love to go back to Firenze and stay at Hotell Emma again.

The hotel is located ~20 walk to the center of Florence, maybe 30-40 minutes to further away sites. For the price, it was great to be within walking distance of all that Florence has to offer.
