My wife and I didn't get to stay here as booking.com booked the same room twice. Within 2 hours of booking we were contracted by this hotel and informed of the error. They went above and beyond to find us a similar place to stay. Also, the wine from their estates is amazing.

Porcellino gallery is one of the best boutique hotel/b&b i stayed in.First of all the location, one of the most popular little market square in Florence, full of character and amazing atmosphere. The entrance of the b&b is a little door in the corner just a few steps away from the porcellino's statue. As soon as you enter you will know why this... More

Really nice boutique hotel with extremely friendly owners and staff. We loved the breakfast and trying the (free) wine from the vineyard they own. Our room was nicely decorated and it has an amazing location by the square with the famous il porcellino boar. Brilliantly located for the galleries of Florence. The only potential criticism is the location is almost... More

Beautiful five room hotel in a perfect location in the middle of downtown Florence, steps from everything. No elevator, so rooms all rooms are two floors up from the street. Room was beautifully decorated, staff was great, wifi, etc. The only downside is the noise. It was noisy late some evenings and then some mornings as the vendors set up... More

The Porcellino is right on the Nouvo Market square and just outside the Porcellino statue. It's location is very central in the old town with no piazza or main site more than 15 minutes walk away. The staff are very friendly and cannot do enough for you, especially Mariella. Breakfast is always fresh and laid for you, based on a... More

I stayed in this lovely boutique hotel for a couple of nights last June. The location is great, very central, in the heart of the Centro Storico, close to the main sights in Florence. The room was very cosy, the service extremely friendly and helpful. A good breakfast is served in the salon, with fresh fruit salad, pastries, etc. Every... More

I can't say enough about this beautiful boutique hotel. The management is extremely accommodating and friendly. The rooms are super clean and immaculately taken care of. The location could not be more central and perfect. The decor is stunning and a work of art. From the first day until the last, I was gleaming with joy because I could not... More

I stayed here for two dates in Florence. It was close to everything....shopping, restaurants, site seeing, museums. There are only five rooms so it us very intimate. There's no elevator but staff will schlep your bags for you. Be advised that it may be difficult to find as it is a small place and the busy market is right in... More

DO NOT STAY HERE. I have no idea how this place gets positive reviews. Nice as the rooms and location may be you will find it IMPOSSIBLE to get any sleep here. The windows overlook a street filled with restaurants rowdy til late at night and somewhere else nearby playing music with a thumping bass. I always travel with bionic... More

Staying in Uffizi

Neighborhood Profile
Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
