Stayed in the Michelangelo Room which faces the Piazza, loved the view. Noisy in the early morning when the security gates are lifted (5:30 am) Once you realize what the noise, you should get over it and get coffee at the bakery at the end of the block. By the way, the hotel is not clearly marked. Look at the... More

An excellent location in the middle of a wonderful square - right across from the Uffizi! Yet it was so peaceful and we slept so well. Breakfast was great and served with a lovely smile - the waiter was so accommodatiing! No views from our window but the central location more than made up for this. Our friends were on... More

We decided that we would rather rent an apartment in Florence during our stay than a Hotel so that we could have a kitchen to do our coffee in the morning and feel more like we were living in the city rather than camping in a hotel. This was a wonderful spot that we rented through VRBO.com. It was in... More

During our recent vacation in Italy my wife and I stayed for three-days in La Casa Del Garbo, a bed and breakfast that was recommended to us by a friend, during our enjoyable stay in Florence. La Casa Del Garbo is perfectly situated in the heart of Florence located directly on the Piazza del Signoria across from the Palazzo Vechhio.... More

We stayed here in the Leonardo suite for 3 nights. We couldn't believe it when we walked in, a huge suite with an enormous bed, a sitting room, a kitchen & bathroom. Luxurious! And looking over the Piazza della Signoria. The piazza is alive with activity all day & a lot of the night. So if you want a quiet... More

From the moment we stepped into the room of this Wonderful B & B we were not disappointed. Our unit was a one bedroom suite. The Lorenzo. The view from our windows over looked the Piazza Della Signoria, amazing! I read about the B & B from another Trip Advisor review and then researched it further. We were pleasantly surprised... A lovely B & B with friendly staff situated right on La Plazza del Signoria. The Uffizzi Gallery and the Museo Vecchio are both situated on this square. The accommodation is walking distance to all the sights in Florence. The rates are very reasonable. Our room called Gemma was very spacious and comfortable.

We booked a deluxe double and it really was. This ancient building provided a gorgeous bedroom with typical Italian furniture and a giant bed. Situated on the Piazza della Signoria right in the heart of ancient Florence, we had a view onto the Piazza. The room was air conditioned. We rather expected it to be very noisy as we were... More

What a great place and location. It's located on Piazza Della Signoria but is extremely quiet once you're inside. The room we stayed on was on the 3rd floor and huge - 2 bedrooms, a kitchen and very large bathroom. Staff was very helpful and recommended a great place for us for dinner. We only stayed for a night, but... More

Staying in Uffizi

Neighborhood Profile
Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
