My partner and I stayed here last spring. We promised ourselves that we would write a review since we had such a terrific stay. Relais Grand Tour was a perfect place to call home for a week. It was indeed tricky to find at first as others have mentioned. But the room and services were very well done. Every day... more

Highly recommended. A short stroll from the Duomo and tourist attractions but tucked away enough to be peaceful and quiet. We stayed in the eclectic mirror suite, definately a lovely break from the norm, this beautiful and thoughtfully laid out room did not disappoint. A delightful outside terrace too! Our hosts were more than accommodating, providing us with maps, directions,... more

Relais Grand Tour is amazing. We stayed in the Diva Room for 5 days for my wife's 60th. See Florence in January or February as there are no crowds / queues and shopkeepers are willing to haggle. Epiphany celebrations are amazing in the Cathedral, & not to be missed. There is not one thing we could fault with this 'home... more

Excellent location allows walking to most major attractions. Very close to superb restaurants and to the mercato centrale (central food market). Our apartment had a kitchenette, which allowed us to cook dinners, which was a great help since we were visiting with our young son. Christina was enormously helpful before we arrived and during our stay. She even booked at... more

Its difficult to find such a quiet place to stay in the centre of Florence but this low key but beautifully ordained hotel was a real gem, the owners couldnt have been more helpful (do try their recommended restuarants) and was a joy to stay at. more

We stayed here for 4 nights in January 08 and it was wonderful! Cristina was so helpful prior to our trip in giving us local information regarding trains and museums and we looked forward to coming "home" every night. The Purple room was fantastic, and very comfortable and all the sights within a 5 minute walk. Would would reccommend to... more

We had the pleasure of staying in this charming property and spent 3 wonderful days in the Actors Suite. The hosts Cristina and Giuseppe have lovingly restored this beautiful building with such care and attention to detail. We would highly recommend it for a lovely break in a great location in Florence in a very quiet area but very central... more

This is an old restored property 10 minutes walk from the Duomo and the main rail and bus stations. The owners are friendly and helpfull. We stayed in the Mirrors suite which had a door leading to the small patio outside. When the owners found out it was our Birthday (my wife and I share the same birthday 1 year... more

Professional requirements meant we would be in Florence during the last week in October. Our long practice of not being “touristy” meant we were on the lookout for something different in accommodation. Copious research led us the Grand Tour Suites. We came, we saw, we were conquered, and will surely go back again! Cristina and Giuseppe are the kind of... more

We stayed in the Actor's Suite for 3 nights in mid October. We had lots of baggage and caught a cab from the train station (10 E) to the Relais Grand Tour, so finding it was no problem. Guiseppi and Cristina have done a wonderful restoration of the various suites (all different) and we really enjoyed the Actor's Suite. Lots... more
