Maria is so very nice! The room was large with a good bathroom and lots of hot water. Breakfast was served right outside the room with plenty of muffins, sweet croissants, juice, water, melon, and coffee! The wifi signal in the room was strong with no issues in connectivity. We booked the Katti House months ago in anticipation of our visit to Florence. Upon arrival, we were placed in a fairly decent room with a private bath, but told we would be moving the next day. I thought the move would be to a quieter room because it was right over the main, noisy street. We packed our bags... More

We took a family trip to Europe for spring vacation and chose Katti House because of the recommendation from Rick Steve's travel book. We got off the plane and headed straight for the Katti House. We arrived late in the evening and were welcomed by Maria, who made sure we got a good meal before we headed off for some... More

Be aware that there is very little English spoken here. The exterior of the building and walk up are not attractive. Rooms are dated and beds can be quite uncomfortable (single wire beds were provided in the room we stayed in). Air conditioning and heating unit was not functional. Radiators appeared to be on a timer as they completely shut... More

Dear Sir, we are terribly sorry for your complains but think that you are a very particular guy because the 90% of the reviews are really very good. We advice you to book a 5 star Hotel but are sure that you'll find problems too. KIND REGARDS MARIA(THE OWNER) More

We stayed 2 nights in January and loved it. This is a great location, walking distance to everything. Our room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast has everything you could want and Maria makes wonderful cappuccino! Definitely recommend this B&B and will stay again if we are fortunate to return to Florence.

This is a lovely B&B with prime location. Walking distance to literally everything you would want to see. There is a laundry mat right across the street too, if that's something you need. I don't give it 5 only because it was loud late into the night from the people eating at the kebob place across the street, but our... More

This B&B has a very good position, spacious and clean rooms. The breakfast is various, homemade cakes and the cappuccino that makes Maria is the best. For the money that we paid we had a 4 stars hotel, really enjoyed it. We will return for sure, thank you for everything.

This is a great value for your stay in Florence. It is within walking distance of the SMN train station, the local market and all the best art & architecture Florence has to offer. Our hostess Anna is a kind, warm local lady who runs a clean, safe & inexpensive bed & breakfast. There is breakfast. in the morning, free... More

Excellent location: short walking distance to train station. 5-10min walk to all main tourist attractions. Laundry mat, gelateria, trattoria's, shops, Internet cafe all within steps of the B&B. We spent five nights in room #5. Our room was spacious, with nice ambiance, and offered lots of storage space. Felt cozy and safe. No bathtub, but shower is nice. Maria, the... More

It isn't a fancy place, but the rooms are plenty large, even by American standards. It was very clean and while the inn keeper's English is actually worse than my Italian, we were able to communicate any problems and get them resolved. The breakfast isn't worth much, but that is the only down side. I'd go back.
