My wife booked this room because the pics were cute and somewhat affordable. When we got there, the manager gave us a room down the street on the second floor. We were also told that a deposit of all of the days stay was needed in which in the end "Maria" said it was ok (so beware of this, you... More

Located in the heart of Florence, this hotel was more than I expected. I stayed here in mid Summer and it was super affordable for the prime location. This may be because the owners only speak Italian, but it was not a problem since I only stayed for one night. So many great restaurants nearby, BUT they have their own... More

The location is conveniently located. But there is more than one location for this B&B. They have,15 rooms but in different buildings. If you are looking for just a,place to stay with no sincerity and warm feel from your service then stay here. Otherwise I recommend staying at an agritourismo near the city for a great experience and visiting florence.... More

We were 3 people (Myself, wife and daughter), and our room was satisfactory, with enough space a decent WiFi in a building just down the street from the main address. Basic, but OK accommodations. Breakfast was also fine, although limited to a 2 hour window (8-10 AM). Be aware that very little English is spoken. A satisfactory budget choice for... More

Was a little disappointed on our arrival when we were put into two separate rooms on two separate floors from our children after booking the family room. We were told they had giving it to another family. My husband and I were put in a room with no bathroom and had to walk across the breakfast room to use toilet/... More

Maria is so very nice! The room was large with a good bathroom and lots of hot water. Breakfast was served right outside the room with plenty of muffins, sweet croissants, juice, water, melon, and coffee! The wifi signal in the room was strong with no issues in connectivity. Guests get a 10% discount for lunch and dinner in Trattoria... More

We booked the Katti House months ago in anticipation of our visit to Florence. Upon arrival, we were placed in a fairly decent room with a private bath, but told we would be moving the next day. I thought the move would be to a quieter room because it was right over the main, noisy street. We packed our bags... More

We took a family trip to Europe for spring vacation and chose Katti House because of the recommendation from Rick Steve's travel book. We got off the plane and headed straight for the Katti House. We arrived late in the evening and were welcomed by Maria, who made sure we got a good meal before we headed off for some... More

Be aware that there is very little English spoken here. The exterior of the building and walk up are not attractive. Rooms are dated and beds can be quite uncomfortable (single wire beds were provided in the room we stayed in). Air conditioning and heating unit was not functional. Radiators appeared to be on a timer as they completely shut... More

We stayed 2 nights in January and loved it. This is a great location, walking distance to everything. Our room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast has everything you could want and Maria makes wonderful cappuccino! Definitely recommend this B&B and will stay again if we are fortunate to return to Florence.
