We stayed in the Katti House 2 and loved it. Our room was spacious, comfortable, brand new bathroom and shower. Conveniently located, and got a perfectly good night sleep. Daily breakfast was hearty, varied and included. spent 4 nights there and ate at their sister restaurant 3 of the 4 nights, wish we made it all 4 nights in retrospect.... More

My wife and stayed at Katti's house for 5 nights while in Florence. It is conveniently located close to the train station. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The owners were welcoming and very accommodating. This place is a good value and would definitely stay here again.

We recently stayed here for four nights after being recommended by Rick Steve's Florence Book. I must admit that it is in a great location relative to the train station with just a short walk to get there and to many of hone major sights in Florence, but upon arriving, they had difficulty finding our reservation. When they finally did,... More

Stayed 2 nights. First off I made a mistake when I reserved the room and only made it for 2 people and was supposed to be for three. The owners were so nice to help us out when we got there and fixed us up with a triple on such short notice. Couldn't thank them enough. Rooms were spotless. Got... More

Had to traverse a ways to get to Katti House 2. Room was on third floor. Elevator only had room for one person and a small suitcase. Room #2 was clean and spacious. But we could hear a lot of noise from the breakfast area in the morning when she was getting things around. No sleeping in! Could also hear... More

Dear Sir/Madame, we accept your complains but at the same time think that the problems found are not dependent on us; it's normal in each Hotel or B&B that the neighbors room can get noisy and to find the A.C. closed when it's too cold. How can see from the other reviews you are the only guest who wrote negative... More

We stayed for 4 days. The owner was so helpful and super kind. A good every day breakfast buffet in the morning with a choice of coffee or cappuccino or chocolate. The house location is super smart and close to the metro station, downtown and every meeting point. You can even have a 10% discount at the owner restaurant right... More

When we arrived at the address that the hotel was supposed to be located at we had to wait for the receptionist/owner for about 10-15 minutes before she arrived. She then said that we were going to stay in their OTHER building, which was located about 700 m away from the main B&B. When finally in our room the airconditioning... More

My wife found Katti House in Rick Steve's Italy guide. I don't know where to start. Our first impression (myself, wife and two teens 17 & 15) was that this was much more "quaint" than what we've been used to. Non-descript entrance, no elevator, A/C not turned on, good-sized room with two twins pushed together and then two separate twins,... More

We saw Katti House recommended in the Rick Steve's travel book. It was reasonably priced and very well located, right in between the train station and the Duomo. When we checked in, we were led to our room just down the street. The room was plenty big and very cozy, but some of the amenities didn't work. The fridge, safe,... More

Wife, daughter and I stayed here as our second stop on a tour around Italy for a family vacation. We arrived on the train from Rome and easily found the hotel was only about a 5 or 6 minute walk from the train station. The owner of the hotel is a wonderful lady, speaks minimal english but we were able... More
