I stayed here on recommendation of someone who was staying nearby and it was a mistake. The A/C didn't work, the TV didn't work and the ensuite bathroom smelled nasty. Breakfast was mediocre. The bed was uncomfortable at best with visible springs. While in Florence I learned that other places nearby were cleaner and more updated at a cheaper price.

Spent three wonderful days in Florence, enjoyed the museums,
churches, food, (including yummy gelato) and strolling to and from it's grand piazza's (squares). That "high" ended when I returned to
my room at Il Palagio. The fresh odor of fumigation along with a
wafer thin mattress and pillow, curt management who made no attempt
to correct the situation or allow...
