We stayed there for 3 nights. First, the manager was very pleasant, showed all good restaurants and sights. The location is great. The only bad thing was that the fridge is actually a freezer so our food was iced.

I stayed at the Althea Rooms three nights. The price was reasonable, and the room clean and well maintained. I had accidentally booked only two nights, but the staff was very gracious when I stayed the third. On check-in, I was provided with a map of Florence, and Antonio found the address where my friends were staying and marked that,... More

I loved my 7 night stay at Althea Rooms in Florence. It was very clean. In a perfect part of town just a short walk from everything yet, on a quiet street. The staff was extremely friendly. It was a cute apartment type of room. The bed was comfortable with a desk and computer. It had a home feel to... More

I am sorry but I have nothing good to say about this place, except the location, which is filthy form the people who run it to the actual place itself: 1. First of all the scam performed by the lady which administers the place, and which also appear in one of their website picture, was really miserable. I called the... More

The host at these apartments could not have been more helpful. The location just off Piazza San Spirito is ideal for access to everything south of the river. We were provided with excellent recommendations for tradional restaurants. We were particularly impressed with Tamero I'm the Pizza San Spirito. We all loved this venue.

These apartments are in a perfect location. Just out of the main tourist areas but still within two minutes of restaurants the palace and 6 or so minutes walk to the Ponte Vecchio. There is secure parking about 5 minutes away to which you will be directed on arrival. The proprietors are fabulous and the rooms comfortable and full of... More

I stayed at Althea rooms for 3 nights during my stay at Florence with 2 of my friends. The owner was very helpful and gave us helpful advice on directions and restaurants. The room was comfortable, clean, new, and decorated. The availability of air-con and Wi-Fi were appreciated especially when it's summer in Italy! It's a quiet neighbourhood and everything... More

My fiancée and I discovered Althea rooms from a review here on T.A. So glad we decided to stay here - the owner was so helpful, giving us helpful tips and restaurants in the area upon our arrival. It's in a great neighbourhood away from most of the touristy stuff on a quiet side-street. It was only a 10 minute... More

Still here :) Well, hotel is very small. Actually it's just a ~5 rooms at one floor. Clean, quite, not far from the center (10 min). Hotel manager is a great guy. He recomended a lot of nice places to see, shared books/guides for Florence, recomended very good restaurants nearby, shared his mobile phone in case we need his assistance.... More
