First thing you come to appreciate is the size of the rooms. They are large, which for Europe (and Florence in particular) is quite an exception! Then, the cleanliness and the simple elegance of the decor. Susanna is a wonderful host, without being overwhelming. Finally the location: you are away from the crowd of tourist, you feel you are living... More

Susanna takes care of you as soon as you arrive up the stairs and through the magical wooden door. Great location, walking and shopping, we looked down a street and there was the Duomo, right there! Highly recommend and look forward to staying at Residenza Manzoni in the future.

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. Our large room was very comfortable. Wifi in the room was a plus. Breakfast consisted of packaged items left on a tray the evening before, but fine. We were mistaken in our departure date and the staff was extremely helpful in locating another B&B at the last minute.

We booked this blindly. On arrival we got a large room actually a 3 person room so we had a lot of space. The B&B had a frig great for cooling wine, an expresso machine in the entrance and a box of butter cookies in the hallway which someone devoured the second day. Location is good in that it is... What you get here is a very comfortable room with bath and a packaged breakfast waiting in your room, together with a mini-frig. We found this breakfast ample--in fact, we were able to divide it into an afternoon snack as well as a breakfast, and since there is also coffee available it was entirely satisfactory for us, although anyone wanting... This is a great B&B. The staff are friendly and always helpful. It's location is so close to the Duomo and the restaurants around the B&B are pretty cheap. Unless you want to pay a fortune and stay next the the Palazzo Vecchio, I would recommend this place.

I was in Residenza Manzoni for 6 nights, very good managed by signorina Sussana, the room is ample for European standars, has a little tv only in italian, and a mini refrigerator, the breakfast is small, pre-packaged and live it in your room the day before. Good bathroom with hot water and regular water presion, well communicated and with a... More

We stayed at Residenza Manzoni for two nights. We did a ton of sightseeing during the day and did not spend a lot of time in the room. This B&B served our needs fine. Breakfast we not awesome. It was in the room the night we arrived and was all pre-packaged. Nothing to rave about. I would recommend taking a... More
