When I was driving from Bologna to Firenze, I do not know why, but I did not expect this quality from this hotel. But now I'm thinking that I made perfect decision choosing this one. Location is awesome. People are very helpful. So I really like this place.

This hotel was marvelous ! The high ceilings, comfortable beds, and location made our stay in Florence unforgetable. Great restaurants were within walking distance along with the beautiful Santo Spirito church which holds a Michelangelo crucifix. Easy walk across the Arno. The breakfast at the hotel was served in a beautiful room overlooking Florence. The selection was wonderful and the... More

This hotel was recommended by a trusted friend. We had been to Florence before this stay and was able to check out the outside of the hotel as well as the location. We thought the location was ideal and the San Spirito square was quaint, so we booked the rooms. The price was reasonable and we were offered a discount... More

My husband, our 11 year old son and I spent 5 wonderful days in Florence at this fantastic B&B. The location was ideal: It wasn't near the Duomo, but within walking distance. It was, however, in a quaint Firenze neighborhood that was not overrun by tourists. We requested the Gold Room, #2, based on earlier reviews. We anticipated the street... More

I was nervous about our stay here because there was so little information I could find on it, but once we arrived I could not have been more elated. The room (we stayed in the gold room) was huge, with a large bed, sofa, table, chairs, mini fridge, full bathroom with tub and shower, etc. Far more spacious than any... More

A winner, for certain. Yes, room #2 is great, 20 foot ceiling with trompe l'oiel painting, excellent bathroom, and Ferdinando the host was quite helpful. This is THE place to stay if you are going to visit Palazzo Pitti and Boboli gardens. Easy walk to the Uffizi and Piazza della Signora, & so of course Ponte Vecchio and the science... More

This residenza has only three rooms and we stayed there as a group which was ideal. Ask for rooms 1 or 2 which are very large and full of character and superior to room 3 at the back of the building although this can be taken as a double or family room. Room 2 has a splended painted ceiling -... More
