I stayed at the Ridolphi Guest House for 3 nights in August and all aspects about my stay exceeded my expectations. Our host Eliseo was very friendly and always willing to help with any questions I had. The room and bathroom were spotless, beds were made every day and the breakfast was excellent with the added bonus of being served... More

We stayed here for 3 nights and loved it! Out host, Eliseo, was most helpful and kind. The room was beautifully decorated, clean and it felt like home. The breakfast was great and best of all, served in our room every morning. We had a great stay and are telling everyone we know about it ;-)

Rooms are expensive in Italy but this property was a good deal. It was an easy 10 minute walk down Via Nazionale from the Santa Maria Novella train station (although the sidewalks are narrow!). It is also only a 5 minute walk from the Mercato Centrale (amazing, affordable food!) where you walk through the street market stalls hawking magnets and... More

Dear iTravel67 Thank you for the time you dedicated to commentating our establishment. I am pleased that you were content with the efforts our staff made in trying to satisfy all your needs. I was surprised to read that you had difficulty in using the lift on your arrival. The lift works with a key which we insert on the... More

We stayed at the B&B for one night before traveling back to Switzerland by train. The location is good, close enough to the station, but I felt it long when I was walking to the station with two suite cases in the sizzling weather more than 35C degree with my 5 year old son. I loved how the room is... More

I stayed in the Ridolfi Guesthouse for a weekend in July. The location is good. It is only a 5 to 10 minute walk to the markets and Duomo. The owner was very nice and provided us with wonderful suggestions for restaurants and sightseeing. The room is nicely decorated, very clean and has a high ceiling. We had a nice... More

Eliseo (our host) made us feel very welcome and was all smiles all the time. He gave us excellent tips on local restaurants and sights to be seen. The room was nicely decorated and very spacious, the bathroom modern and clean. Eliseo prepared a very nice sweet breakfast with good espresso and cappuccino each morning. Excellent place to stay when... More

The Ridolfi guest house is located within about 7 minutes to where sightseeing basically begins. Keep in mind, that it's not easy to find as other reviewers have mentioned. No sign on the door, just a button with the name on it, on a buzzer in a nondescript building located on Via Cosimo (small local park is at the corner)... More

This place was conveniently located, it is about a 10 minute walk to the train station and a 20 minute walk to the old city. There is no sign, just look for a big wooden door at the address and on the right there is a buzzer button marked with the name of the guesthouse. The room I had was... More

We stayed for 3 nights in July. Before we even arrived, we had contacted eliseo (our host) and he booked the academia and ufizi tickets for us so we didn't have to stand in 1-2 hr long lines. We arrived a little later than anticipated but Eliseo came back to greet us. He took the time that evening to walk... More

I have spent two nights in Ridolfi last week. It was perfect! Eliseo is the best host I've ever met. He's so kind, hospitable, funny and helpful. We got much information about the city and the restaurants from him. The hostel is best value of money, it's about 5 minutes' walk from the central railway station and 5 minutes from... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
A welcome from who has transformed this roomy and comfortable apartment into a bed & breakfast. I have been a traveller for many years and, although everyone of us is different, some fundamental aspects are universal: the price/quality relation, the availability and the discretion of the management and staff, the attention to cleanliness. Moreover the location of the structure in respect of the historical centre, the most important trade fairs (fashion - the Fortezza da Basso for example) and of the main railway station S. M. Novella is guaranteed. We can offer you all of this in truly spacious and comfortable rooms situated in an unusually silent street; every day, we work with the aim of improving the quality and the comfort for you, our future visitors. Upon your arrival, for those interested, we are happy to offer you a coffee or a welcoming aperitif ... more   less
