Immaculate, warm, comfortable treasure very convenient location in Florence. Lovely helpful owner/host-Allesandra. This is our second visit and would never stay anywhere else in Florence .the price is phenomenal. So many wonderful restaurants in this area and just a short walk to all the sites on the other side of the river. I will recommend this great place to everyone... More

The building is creepy and not so easy to find. Our room was fine. The shower is the kind that is a space right beside the toilet. Florescent lights. Bring your own shampoo, etc. But location is what we were looking for (Oltrano near the Arno) and for the price it can't be beat. You have to ask for the... More

We stayed in Florence and used it as a base to go to Lucca and to Sienna also. We stayed for 5 nights and very glad we stayed on that side of town, that side of river because of all the great restaurants hidden in the narrow streets there away from the big plazas. The room was clean but basic... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 9 nights while visiting Florence for a friend's wedding. I would have no problem recommending this B&B while touring the Florence. It is an ideal base and close to some wonderful sites-only two bridges away from the Ponte Vecchio. Accommodation was comfortable and cleaned everyday.A small breakfast was also available in our room.... More

If you're looking for the cheapest place to stay comfortably in Florence, with a private bathroom, this is it. The location is decent, with convenient access to the bars and restaurants of Oltrarno, but is a bit of a hike from the main sites. However, for those wanting to stay away from the overly-touristy center, this is a good choice.... More

My wife and I stayed here for several nights in May 2009. Our room was clean and we had a private bathroom across the hall from our room. The room had a window but it looked into a storage / utility room that had a skylight and sinks / mops / brooms. Also, the room had a noticeable mold /... More

I don't stay at hotels or fancy places, so if you're the opposite, you wouldn't agree or benefit with my review. The rest of you, read on... GREAT LOCATION: a bridge away from Ponte Vecchio, steps away from the best gelatos in florence. You get the benefit of being near the tourist spots AND near the local neighborhood where you... More

Alessandra was welcoming and friendly. She got us set up in our room and gave her phone number in case we had problems when she wasn't in her office. She also allowed us to keep our luggage in the building while my friend and I toured more of Florence on check out day. She also let us pay with a... More

Located in the Oltrarno quarter of Florence, this B&B is recommended in Rick Steves Florence & Tuscany guidebook - and heartily by me. It is a great budget choice in Florence; not a budget town. Despite reading a somewhat negative review, we made a choice to lodge here. Long ago I discovered that there are reviewers who bash small rooms,... More
