The residence is located nearby Pont Veccio, shoppings center, actractive places. Just 10min walking. The room is large for 3 and clean, however the floor is cold without carpet. This place does not have elavator. The reception is very nice and helpful.

Our room had the best location. We were close to our scheduled tour meeting points/ending points, near the river, walking distance to any area in Florence. Alessandra and Daniela were very helpful in giving directions on the map they provided, and Daniela called a taxi on our behalf (to take us to the airport) which arrived within the promised five... Hotel was nice as was the staff. The room was a bit rundown but was very spacious. The breakfast wasn't very good but there was the kettle in the room which was handy. Location was useful for what we wanted.

Great location in Florence - close to restaurants, shopping and local attractions. Almost everything is in walking distance. The room I booked was ok. Bed was comfortable. I did not like that the bathroom was out in the hallway. The other rooms had bathrooms located inside of their rooms which I would have preferred. Also felt a little claustrophobic since... More

We stayed in early March 2015. Located two blocks from Ponte Veccio, Pitti Palace, close to museums. Lots of restaurants nearby. Americans would call it "second floor". (Europeans don't count the ground floor as the first floor) Alessandra was a great help. Our room had a typical European bathroom en suite. Price was right on target for us. Would certainly... More

We booked a double room, but on the night before our arrival at 23:35, I received a message from the owner that they had to cancel our booking due to a credit card issue. Interestingly, 5min before I had received the payment confirmation from my card company. I immediately called the owner, but she was not helpful at all. I... More

Dear Jan Drewes I do not speak English well, but you did not understand the things I said on the phone. I have not been able to call, because that's when the offices were closed. I have to ask permission to call a number that makes me talk to a recorded voice asking me to enter the details C /... More

Soggiorno Alessandra is in an excellent location. A six minute bus ride on the #6 bus from Firenze Santa Maria Novella station and within easy walking distance of just about everything we wanted to see in Florence. Alessandra treated us very well and we were quite happy with our stay here. Do not be put off by the entry, which... More

My wife and I stayed for 5 nights at Soggiorno Alessandra in September 2014. I chose this B&B because of its location and I was not disappointed. It really is within easy walking distance of all the tourist attractions of Florence. It was also a blessing to have a self-service Laundromat close by. The gelateria "La Carraia" around the corner... More

Alessandra is a wonderful host - the B&B is simple but perfectly adequate and in a great Area of town. We ate at several good Tratorrias in the area, a grocery is close by, as well as a laundry facility, etc. A bit hard to find, and of course the entrance isn't marble-lined, but we loved it. Alessandra took care... More

Pros:very close to train station, awesome price, easy walking distance to EVERYTHING. the place was very big, including a kitchen with refrigerator. Alessandra was an excellent host and helped me with the mail when I had my credit card stolen. Breakfast stuff (toast and coffee and croissants) were placed in our kitchen everyday.
