Was it as nice as the pictures on the website? No. But, it was a great value for the money and the location is outstanding. We had a three room, one bath apartment. The rooms were clean. The layout was a little odd but workable. Breakfast was more than adequate. We would go back in a heart.

I just read some of the comments bellow and if I had read them before I would have doubted a little to stay, but I contrary to some of the comments had a great time in florence, and the bb was in a great location, no need to take a cab it was a few minutes from the train station,... More

After having viewed the 'A Florence View' web-site we booked on line, paid our deposit to Italia Lodging, and then waited for Easter to come. We duly arrived at Duomo Square at the allotted time of 5.00pm and met Mario who took us to our room in 'A casa di Alino' on the floor above 'A Florence View'. We didn't... More

Great location, decent rooms, fair service -> perfect for families! We stayed in Florence for only 2 nights, with 2 small kids and lots of luggage. Besides minor problems when arriving (had to wait for 15 min for someone to come and let us in) we loved it and would recommend it any time. It really is a B&B, not... More

This is a fabulous, accessible, central location and reasonably priced. Within walking distance of the train station and many important sites. The room was clean and functional - sparsely furnished, but who needs furniture in Florence? The innkeeper - Mario - was delightful. Someone was there to greet us, at the time that we said we would arrive. And Mario,... More

Simply, Don't do it. After reading reviews from two different websites we choose to be optimistic and give this place a try. Aside from the terrible experience that one couple submitted (Trip Advisor June 2006 - "No Reservation") I thought that this place had potential. Armed with this knowledge, I went out of my way to ensure that the proprietor... More

Because different reasons we reduced our stay from 5 to 2 nights, and at the end this B&B charged us an extra night as a ''p e n a l i z a t i o n'' (why, if I was warning of these changes one week before?), so we paid finally near to 145 euros per night for a... More

My girlfriend and I arrived in Florence by train on June 8, 2006. We took a taxi to the main plaza where the amazing Duomo is and the A Casa di Alino resides. We rang the door bell with no answer. We rang and rang and rang on and off for about 15 minutes. Finally, we rang a different B&B... More
