We stayed in Florence for two nights at Locanda de Ciompi. Alessio was so kind and invited us into his office when we arrived where he provided us with a map of Florence and information about our room. He took us to our room which was spacious with classical furnishings. The bathroom was particularly roomy. The room was quiet. We... More

Let me start by saying that this is the way to go if you want a real experience of Italy. I truly did not know what to expect, having honestly never stayed in a B&B before! All I can say is that I was truly disappointed we didn't stay longer. We made the poor decision of only staying in Florence... More

This was our favorite place to stay in Italy. The location was perfect! We were able to walk everywhere to see all the famous sights, yet enjoy the area of town we were in and the wonderful people and food. The room was very comfortable and the air worked great. We loved looking out the window every night and seeing... More

My daughter & I stayed here 2 nights last month. Alessio is a charming man & eager to assist in making our stay pleasant. The room was clean, neat & surprisingly quiet given its proximity to Piazza dei Ciompi. Its location is ideal - the best of Florence is minutes away by foot. The included breakfast at Plaz was also... More

I can not say enough about Alessio and Locanda de Ciompi. He was as hospitable, accommodating and helpful as any inn keeper I've ever encountered in my years of travel. The rooms are beautifully appointed and immaculately kept. Alessio goes out of his way to make each of his guests feel welcome and at home. My only complaint was the... More

My husband and I stayed at Locanda de' Ciompi last summer (June 2013). A year later we still talk about this lovely hotel and the very nice owner. This hotel is located at a residence area but it is extremely close to all the tourist sites. It is walking distance to almost all the major sites. My husband and I... More

We stayed 5 nights at Locanda de' Ciompi. Alessio was an excellent host and helped us get oriented to the city. He also recommended some great restaurants in the neighbourhood. We loved the location and walked all over the city from here. The room was clean, spacious and quiet. Breakfast at a nearby cafe was included. We loved Florence and... More

Great location close to major attractions and great restaurants. The room we stayed in was clean, spacious, modern and comfortable. Our host Alessio was extremely accommodating, organized and kind. Great value for the price of the room which includes complimentary breakfast. Highly recommended, and book early as this gem fills up fast!

Good located B&B in the historical center of Florence, with nice owners, good organized and better then regular hotel hospitality. Breakfast in nearby cafe was convenient and good. Thank you from our family.

My husband and I stayed here for three nights and we loved it. The room was lovely and comfortable, spotlessly clean, and we were able to walk to every museum, gallery, and any other place that we wanted to visit. Even the train station is within walking distance. It's location provides restaurant choices oriented to both locals and tourists, a... More
