It was tricky to find the hotel and the lift was so small. The guy at reception was helpful and friendly but the room was very small. Even thoughh it was neat and clean the towels were made linnen and felt like paper - weird. Tje breakfast was average and one morning we were a little bit after the rush... More

We found this hotel a great stay. For a 3 star hotel the breakfast was surprisingly good. It is also a 1 min walk to the main train station and is about a ten min walk from the main part of town, so it was quite easy to find. Despite other reviews we did not find any bed bugs and... More

Location may be ideal as it's only a stone's throw away from Firenzi train station BUT that should not be a consideration when looking at this hotel. We stayed for two nights. A makeup smudge I accidentally left on my bed sheet was present for the two nights we stayed. The sheets weren't changed at all! I unfortunately discovered it... More

Upon check-in we were not greeted, the desk was empty. When the manager did appear he was rude and arrogant. Breakfast was very ordinary. Not a bad location, close to train station, but is hardly a 3 star hotel

This hotel was one of the worst of the 3 star hotels we stayed in while traveling in Europe for 3 weeks. The AC would not work and we had to leave the windows open to get any relief. The breakfast food was below par. We only ate their food once out of 4 days. We arrived late at night... More

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Alinari. As we were traveling by train, it is located very close to the Central Train Station Santa Maria Novella which was perfect for us especially since we were lugging 'overpacked' luggage. The hotel is located on the fourth floor of an old building right down a driveway off the main road, there... More

I had jumped ship from an expensive activity holiday and just needed to get to the city. Alinari was my base for three nights, before I headed to the more expensive but less central hotel I'd booked for my last night stay. Location is ideal- you can walk everywhere- but do bring sensible footwear- Florentine streets are not heel friendly.... More

I wish I could recommend this hotel, its charming and has a very central location. unfortunatly we they have bed bugs... so now we all have bed bugs, and have to wash/freeze our entire luggage. Tha manager is also not very accomodating, breakfast is just OK. Until something is done about the bugs; dont stay here...

We were forced to change our holiday plans late afternoon and this was the only hotel that had a room available for that night. Christiano at reception was very friendly, and although the only room available was a 4 bed family room he still gave us very reasonable price. It was room 139 and has a wonderful view from window... Had a nightmare trying to check in. The manager was away and the people at the front desk were completely incompetent. Also, this is on the 4th floor of a building and looks more like a pensione with attached bathrooms rather than a hotel. If you are willing to pay a bit more, there are some nicer options. For what... More
