The hotel is clean, situated just south of the Ponte Vecchio bridge in a very convenient area near some good restaurants on fun piazzas. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Great English breakfast on the terrace for €10 per person. My only small complaint is that the air conditioning wasn't cool enough, but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this... More

We stayed here four nights and were very happy with the location and the quality and size of the room. The elevator was very tiny but very welcome for getting luggage up to our room. The Reception area is located across the street at La Scarpetta where Silvia and her reception staff were most helpful. This is also where we... More

I am not nomally one to complain and this is my first review. I don't know where I should start but I hope all rooms are no like the one we were in. ( room E ) 1: Very dirty: after arriving I took my shoes off and my feet were black within a couple of steps. I don't think... More

This B and B is a little gem in Florence. It is midway between the Ponte Veccia bridge one way and the Pizzicato Palace the other and situated in the Old town so we had easy access to all the touristy things on foot. We walked to the B and B from the train station which in distance was ok... More

we stayed in the B&B during our Italy trip in April 2012, stayed 2 nights. it's a very nice B&B, have free Breakfast, nice view to see the old town, reasonable room price. but it's far away the train station, u better take a taxi to go there with you have big luggages (sqaure stone step on the road), the... we stayed for 2 nights and were not disappointed. The B&B is affiliated with Hotel La Scaletta across the street. This arrangement is a little inconvenient, but not a problem really. Great value and excellent location. Walk to everything, comfortable bed, ok shower, easy access. Breakfast at La Scaletta for 7 Euro is a good deal - especially if the morning... More

We stayed here during (part) of our honeymoon. Its across the river from touristic part of Florence but just across. So the location is superb without being high priced. Its very simple room and very typical old european feel. Nice bed, a TV, hot shower (the drain is a bit slow and may flood the shower). Outside the room, there... More

Ok. Inexpensive, centrally located (1/2 block from the Ponte Vecchio) friendly staff, clean, amazing self-serve breakfast which you can eat on the roof dining area overlooking the city. In an old building, marble floors, I couldn't ask for more. If you want the Hilton, stay there. If you want Florence, stay here.

This hotel was in the most amazing location. Literally a 1 minute walk from Ponte Vecchio. Yes you do have to check in at another location (Hotel Scaletta ) but it is almost directly opposite Florence Old Bridge so no problem at all. It was nice being able to use the facilities of Hotel Scaletta – the roof terrace was... More

Well it does have a nice breakfast and the patio view is quite good, but the rooms are not all that great and the baths tiny. Location is excellent right next to the Pont Vecchio. There are others in the area which have equally good views. The price is among the better features at 75e.
