This hotel is situated in between the Palazzo Pitti/Giardino di Boboli and the Ponte Vecchio and you really cannot get a better location; all of the main attractions are within throwing distance of the hotel. My room was quaint with nice pictures, a sizeable bed, good wifi, clean and quiet. There was no view from the window but then for... More

We stayed here for four nights. Room is basic but clean. It's in a great location. But... My bed was horrible- you can feel the springs digging into your back and one side of the mattress had collapsed. The a/c did not work. It blew cool air but not sufficiently cold to get the room to a comfortable temperature. It... More

Had a great 3 night stay here- very large room for the area, esp for what it cost us! Great locale (next to the Ponte Vecchio) and short walk to everything. Only odd thing was having to carry 3 different keys to get in but thats not uncommon for the area. Would def recommend!

We loved staying across the river - away from the crowds but a quick walk to the must see sites in Florence. This is a 1 minute walk after crossing Ponte Vecchio. There are so many great restaurants in Oltrarno to pick from and our best meal in Italy was here at Trattoria San Agostino. The B&B was spacious. My... More

My husband and i stayed here for four nights as part of a wedding party. The b&b is in a excellent location, you are within walking distance to Palazzo Pitti also 10 minute walk to Palazzo Vecchio, restaurants and shops. The room itself was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed. Bathroom was clean also. We booked a superior double,... More

Stayed here for two nights. Located conveniently between Ponte Vecchio bridge and Palazzo Pitti, about ten minute walk to the Duomo. Rooms are clean. Breakfast is not free (10 euros per person) but it was good hearty type. Check in also has to be done in a hotel across the street, but this is not a big deal. I would... More

This B&B is in a great location near "the old bridge" and Pitti Plaza. Room was clean with ensuite bathroom. Staff is across the street at La Scarletta Hotel. Very helpful. My only gripe is being a B&B breakfast should have been included in the price. It was only included for one morning, others can be bought. Breakfast was very... More

This B&B is in an excellent location at an affordable price. You have to get keys from across the road at a hotel but it wasnt a problem at all. Room was basic but it was clean and tidy and all we needed to rest in the evening.

We booked this B&b for a three night stay and were not disappointed. The room was basic but clean and comfortable and the hotel provided free wifi (always a plus when exploring). We availed of the complimentary breakfast on our first day which was served in the hotel across the street which again was satisfactory but we went elsewhere on... More

Staying in Pitti

Neighborhood Profile
Pitti
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
