I stayed at this hotel for three nights on my return to Florence and chose it because it was one block away from my daughters apartment. What a pleasant surprise as there was free wifi which is something I never got when staying at Hotel Bigallo whilst in Florence two weeks prior. This is such a plus when you are... More

This hotel is quaint, but that's about all it gets from me & my American standards. Everything is cramped. Lobby, breakfast area, rooms-all TINY. For three people the room is crazy small. Three twin beds all smacked together. The bathroom is a bit better but with a small shower. Don't get why they put the outlet for the lamp right... More

I stayed here recently for a conference and had a very pleasant time in this hotel. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is a nice typical Italian breakfast with great coffee. My room was not huge, but was comfortable and had a fridge, safe, TV, hair dryer, quite good amenities considering the very reasonable price.... More

My first time to Italy. I was with a tour group so this isn't the hotel I would have picked. No plushness. Everything was very basic. Nothing what I expected. The rooms had twin hard beds. No decorations. No small refrigerator, microwave, or lock box. Small shower. If you bent over, you would bump your head. No real breakfast. This... More

The hotel is located about a ten minute walk from the Firenze Santa Maria Novella station, which makes it very easy to get around. The rooms are basic and dormitory like, equipped with a clean functional bathroom. Although the room was average, the staff and their service well made up for any lacking features. We had the unfortunate event of... More

I stayed in this hotel with my school and I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel is really nice, and all the rooms are different (different colours, furniture...). I stayed in a double room: it was spacious, with a big wardrobe and the bathroom was ok. The rooms are not very modern but clean and cozy. For me, breakfast was... More

Hotel Eden is an easy walk from the station trundling a bag. It is easy walking distance to the Duomo and the many fabulous sights of Florence. It is a short stroll from a street set up as a leather market, and close to a large produce market. The Hotel is two stars at best, being rather tired and in... More

I stayed here with 40 senior level secondary school students on a tour of art sites in Florence. For this it was convenient and centrally placed. This is certainly not a luxury hotel but it was perfect for the group. All were placed together in rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors. This suited us teachers to make sure they... More

My family and I stayed in this hotel last October 23-25, 2012. The hotel is well located and only 5 minute walk away from the train station with shops around it. It has a chinese take out counter, small grocery shop and bakery just outside the hotel. Very convenient place to stay. The rooms were decent and clean. The staff... More

Whilst travelling through Italy, another 'good value' hotel I came across was Hotel Eden. I had the pleasure of staying over for a night and welcomed with an 'old style hotel' feeling. It was the combination of friendly service, a cosy room and lovely Italian atmosphere which secured my return in future. This hotel is also well located in town... More
