Stayed here for two nights in a triple room. I got a great deal on Galahotels.com for $190 total. So with that great price I wasn't expecting much but a place to sleep near the train station. Luckily, our room was on the second floor so we didn't have to carry our luggage up too many flights of stairs. The... more

Location-Perfect. 2 blocks from train station. 3 blocks to Duomo. Room-if you arent picky about hotels and see hotels just a place to shower and sleep. perfect Manager/Owner-not great. We booked the room for 3 people. 1 Person last minute wanted to be added to our trip. When we arrived its not like in USA you can have 4 in... more

I wish I would have read the reviews before getting this hotel booked. It was prepaid through a travel agent so we figured she knew something about the hotel. Maybe not so much. The only advantage, if you want to call it that, is the proximity to the train station. Very close walk if you're lugging suitcases...but then again if... more

No elevator. The staff is rude and doesn’t speak English. They were so loud that we couldn’t sleep at night. I almost had to fight with the front desk so they’d exchange the rooms from one bed to two. They were not helpful in any way and even refused to book a city tour for us saying that all tours... more

We stayed for two nights. Third floor up. No elevator but certainly did not expect one as we have gone budget the whole trip so it was no problem to walk up. The location of the hotel was great. We had a big bedroom overlooking the main street. Once we opened the main window it was very very noisy. When... more

1. Large Room 2. Strange bathroom. There wasn't a shower. There was a shower head and a drain in the middle of the bathroom floor, which did not appear clean enough to shower on. We were only there one night, so both my husband and I avoiding showering until we got to Rome! 3. There is not an elevator. We... more

Most convenient. You can walk to any popular place no more than 30 minutes. To go to Florence get a train ticket for 6.50 euro then walk to the other end of the airport, come out and take the train to Pisa Central (5 min). Go down one level and look for Firenze SMN (probably platform 5) which is the... more

It's a simple basic hotel. The common room is great, the stairs not so great. There are air conditioners in the rooms. Ours worked just fine and the bathrooms are pretty standard for Europe. It's very convenient to the train station and to the duomo and the other "sights" of Florence. The thing that makes the place stand out from... more

This hotel was very easy to find when we arrived at the train station which I thouhg tinitally was such a great choice by me!! However you had to carry your case up the stairs...NO ELEVATOR!! Then our room was VERY noisy (despite the attempt to keep the windows well glazed and darkened with shutters) also NO air conditioner but... more

This hotel is well-maintained and staffed by friendly and attentive personnel who take a real interest in the welfare of their guests. The Hotel has a certain charm and is very close to the train station but only a short walk to the Duomo. I would gladly stay there again. more
