The hotel has a great location, being close to the train station and in walking distance from Florence central attractions. And that was all the positives. The hotel facilities are very poor. The only positive of the room was it's size. The furniture was old and used, the bed uncomfortable, the tv was very small and the room had a... More

This hotel is very well located. The staff is very nice. Decent views. The breakfast is great if you get there in time because it goes quickly. There is no elevator, but the staff will carry your luggage. Air conditioning works and you need it in summer. This hotel looks a bit shabby, but is relatively pleasant, comfortable, and decent... Stayed for 3 nights with 1 friend... The staff here are very friendly and helpful, a family run bed and breakfast. We had room 206. Spacious, comfortable, plently of storage, mini fridge (contents are free!) But the room could do with some updating. Breakfast was lovely and good choice. Location is perfect, 5 minute walk to centre and 2 minute... More

It's just 2 mins walk from train station and lots of cafes downstairs. I don't mind there was not lift in the hotel but I do mind on the tiny toilet which made us lots of fraustration for every shower. Room is big with a tiny toilet and furniture are kind of old. Don't understand how come it rates 3... More

My wife and I have just returned from a fabulous stay at the Hotel Lombardia in fabulous Firenze. Very friendly staff from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. We were on the third floor in a nice sized room with a fabulous bathroom ;) Lovely shower, and free mini bar, topped up every day. On leaving we... More

It was actually the best hotel that we had in Italy. Stayed two nights in a superior room which was enormous! All furnishings were so comfortable and room was renovated. Everything were fresh and clean. There was a kettle in the room (which was rare in Italian hotels). The location was just fantastic. The hotel was located only about 5-10... More

I selected this hotel as a quick sleepover choice. It was a good choice. Really close to the train station and the additional plus is that it is close to so many city attractions too! It is walking distance to the Duomo, shopping SMN, restaurants etc. The hotel gave me a warm welcome and helped me with my luggage as... More

We were booked to stay here on Sat 5th April, however due to a major plumbing problem we were unable to stay in our room. We can however comment on the excellent service at Lombardia. Upon arrival the friendly host Adrea was very apologetic for the inconvenience and had arranged an alternative hotel which was a very good replacement -... More

Very nice and helpful staff. Very good location also. The rooms are confortable and pretty large. The shower is not well delimited and the water is getting all over the bathroom but that might be the case only for the economy double rooms

The hotel is closest to station so thats a super convenience. The rooms are small but well facilitated. Quite clean. Bathroom not bad. But there's no view out of the window. And the breakfast really needs variety. For warm items, there are only boiled eggs, that too get over fast!!!! and they are not replenished. Cute place run by a... More
