My husband & I stayed at this hotel at the end of Feb for a 3 night break booked through Travelzoo. Staff very pleasant and helpful, great buffet breakfast and just five mins walk from the train station. Very convenient for a day trip to Lucca by train There is a wonderful supermarket/deli on the corner just near the station,... More

The Hotel Embassy is very handily located for those wishing to access the main transport systems of Florence. The building is on a slightly dingy street but is in itself very smart and well presented inside and out, with very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was of a modest but sufficient size but well finished and maintained; the main... More

An okay hotel but not much more than that. Our room was on the 2nd floor at the side and was adequate in size with a good sized shower room but no tissues which for 4 stars I was surprised. We like a window open and although the road outside is little used, especially by vehicle traffic, we were disturbed... More

We booked a. Three night package tho line through Travelzoo. We had no choice of hotel but even if we had, we could not have found a more convenient or better hotel. It is just a few minutes walk from the Santa Maria Novella train station. For a hotel so close to the station, the location is very quiet, helped... More

I have just come back from a break in florence and stayed at this hotel. Our room was very clean and the staff were very helpful. The hotel is in a good location. Everything was within walking distance. My only issue with the hotel was the very firm bed. I found it quite hard to sleep on and so did... More

Fell upon this hotel courtesy of a travel offer and it was ideal. Great room with an original ceiling painting, massive bed and well equipped bathroom. Staff helpfull and gave great advice - where to go, how to get there - maps a plenty too Breakfast very good - a full continental with a wide choice. All the main sites... More

Just returned from a Florentine short break, staying at the Embassy. The location is ideal from the point of view of arrival from Pisa (by highly convenient Terravision) and also for accessing the major and not so major sights. The room was perfect : doors opening onto a terrace with fine view over the city, beautifully warm - it rained... More

Stayed at this hotel at the end of Feb. 2014. After reading the reviews we found them in need of updating. Maybe it was the time of year but the noise from the trams was non existent as the windows were shut and we were also on the third floor. The breakfasts were very good for the nature of the... More

My friend and I visited Florence recently, and stayed at The Hotel Embassy for three nights. The hotel is located less than a five minute walk from the bus and railway station, which makes it perfect for arriving in the city from Pisa airport, and is less than ten minutes to the Duomo and other attractions - it really was...
