5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

My wife and I stayed here for three nights (May 9-12) while in Florence during our two week trip to Italy. Pros: Decently-sized room, adequate 3-prong electrical outlets, decent breakfast options for Vegans, a short walk from the Santa Maria Novella Train station, great not-so-touristy-restaurants within a 5 min walk, decent WiFi access although you'll have to log on each... Stayed at this hotel 30th April for 3 nights, the location was good 5 minutes walk from the train station, 10 minutes walk to the main historical sites and it was quiet for a hotel in a major city. All the staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel is very clean with good bathroom facilities, we also had a... More

This is a lovely, modern hotel steps away from the train station. That was the main reason we chose this hotel. The room was very clean and modern but not much of a view. The room we had included a king size bed plus a twin/sofa and well appointed bathroom. Breakfast was included in the price of the room. European... More

We had a queen size bed in a room located on the 4th floor. We had a skylight window that operated via remote along with a motorized curtain blind as well. The bed was comfortable, the room was updated, the bathroom was clean. The continental breakfast was nice and there was plenty of variety to choose from. I was worried... More

We Stayed at the hotel embassy for 4nights. The hotel is standard with all the essential necessaries you may need, it is very close to city and everything is In walking distance. The train station is a 2minute walk from the hotel where you can travel to the main points of Italy from Florence including Rome and Pisa. Breakfast was... More

Nice clean comfortable room. Excellent breakfast - scrambled eggs , sausages, bacon, pastries, fruits, cereals. Handmade Cappucino and espresso on request. It was about 10 min walk to Duomo and a 5 min walk to SMN train station. Other than the taxi ride from the airport to hotel, we did not need any transportation during our stay in Florence. We... This Hotel is in a great location by the bus, train station and Santa Maria, just around the corner. Staff are very friendly, helpful and speak good English. Hotel is nice and clean. Free breakfast good. Would definitely recommend staying here. Tourist information at the Santa Maria opposite the train station provide a good map of the area to help... More

4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2015

Hotel is a very convenient location to the train station (5 minute walk with bags for us). Also not that far from sites and restaurants. Unlike other large cities the area is not run down. Most large cities train stations you want to get as far away as possible not Florence. The hotels room was top notch, the bathroom ultra... More

5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2015

We spent 3 nights here 17th-20th March 2015. The hotel was spotless, beds very comfy, staff friendly (especially breakfast staff). Breakfast was plentiful and plenty of choice. Easy walk to station (and transfer buses) and not far to all main attractions. Although our room looked out over the station we were not disturbed.
