My husband and I recently stayed here in the Michelangelo Room. It was amazing! The staff, particularly Monica, were fantastic. We had a view of the Piazza from our room. The room was incredibly spacious and well appointed with frescoed ceiling. The bath was very modern. Breakfasts were fantastic, and I enjoyed meeting people from all over at breakfast. I... More

This hotel was recommended by a travel agency as we needed a king bed for my very tall father-in-law. I'm usually pretty cheap with hotels because I don't spend much time in them and at first was disappointed to spend more than I wanted. BUT... I would totally stay here again. Our view onto the Piazza della Signoria from our... More

The family run hotel is amazing. The location is perfect. So easy to walk to everything in Florence. The staff is so helpful. Thank you Monica. They sent help when we had trouble arriving at the hotel in our car (you don't need a car in Florence) Had an excellent parking service that took care of the car. The rooms... More

Amazing B&B experience right in the heart of Florence. View out onto Piazza della Signoria from Michelangelo Room was the highlight of our Honeymoon! Lovely community dining at breakfast was a great start to our days in Florence. Staff were friendly and made you feel like family.

I loved it here because I didn't feel like a tourist in Florence. I felt like I was in apartment. Beautiful breakfast w candles each morning. Crazy location in the piazza signoria- wow. Staff was more concerned with other guests but that was fine, we didn't need help with anything. I would stay there again for sure.

Hotel has a lovely atmosphere, helpful owners and staff. The atmosphere of ancient times. One of the best located hotels in Florence. Breakfast in the beautiful dining room. Purity. Very comfortable bed. price of 560 EUR for two nights is absolutely inadequate accommodation style B & B. On the other hand - all prices in Florence are totally inadequate, everything... More

There was quite a mistake made with an inquiry I made about a reservation I supposedly made. I never received any conformation documents from the bed and breakfast, nor from the third party booking agency they used. When I saw the $1000.00US on my Visa I contacted them immediately to try discuss the mistake. They claimed they had the paper... More

I had the great opportunity to spend in this wonderful "hotel" 2 nights in dec 2014. I honestly believe that this is the best place where I ever slept in my all life and carrier. The Residenza is way more then a hotel, when you are here you are not a client but more a guest, a friend of the... More

Spouse and I stayed here in October and had a fantastic time. It is very small, but very, very good and perfectly located. Monica and Sebastian made our stay great from the moment of reservation to the moment of departure. The obscure and discrete hotel entrance is a few steps from Piazza Della Signoria, perhaps the most important and spectacular... More

I have just enjoyed my fifth stay here and as ever fab location, brilliant staff, comfortable rooms - thank you once again to Monica, Sebastian and George for making my stay so memorable and I look forward to seeing you all again soon. Grazie! However, it never ceases to amaze me though how few Brits stay here...it is a fantastic... More

Staying in Uffizi

Neighborhood Profile
Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
