This hotel is in a renovated palace, and has quite the majestic feel. Our room had 15 foot ceilings, three huge armoires, a queen-sized bed and two twin beds, and a sitting area with two chairs. Asumi-san(Japanese) and her hasband(Italian)'s hotel. Tourism can walk so close to Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo. Eating out is also fun because many cafes and restaurants. Great location--close to everything and you feel like you are immersed in Florence. Asumi and Alessio were wonderful hosts for our 4 night stay. Simple but elegant lodgings. There is no internet, but available around the corner at a cafe. The modern bathroom met our needs, but we were prepared with out own toiletries and washcloths. More
