The best option in the heart of Firenze, nearby from the Dome. Nice scenery from the terrace of the hotel. Delicious breakfast, high variety and quality of the food. Effective and wonderful staff. Very polite and nice. They gave us a city map and lots of useful explanationsas well as a free drink. Good value for money!!! I recommend it to... More

Arrived to a wonderful welcome. The staff are lovely and can't do enough to make your stay happy. Nicely decorated, the rooms are very comfortable with virtually everything you need. Only sad that there was not a kettle for making tea and coffee but this is quite normal for Italy. Breakfast was very good. There is a outside terrace on... More

Enjoyed our stay very much. The best part is the staff !!!!!!! They were awesome and so helpful in every way possible, I cannot say enough about them all. The hotel is very clean, and the breakfast was varied, plentiful, and delicious. The rooftop terrace is fabulous, you can have coffees and cocktails up there with candlelights on the tables... More

My boyfriend & I stayed for 4 nights at this hotel form 9th-12th September. On arrival we were warmly welcomed by Fellipe who provided us with a cold drink, advised us a bottle of prosecco was in our room and gave us a map with some recommendations for places to visit and restaurants. All the staff are very friendly and... More

small cosy hotel very centrally located. Rooms small but clean and nice. The reception staff is fantastic no matter when we were in contact with them. They were friendly, helpfull and always smiling. Loved them! This hotel is really value for money (it is on the 3rd floor without a lift so be ready for some excercise) we will be... More

This hotel was in a perfect location for easy access to all the main attraction in Florence, very close to the Cathedral, many restaurants and a short walk to the river. Lovely, clean and very friendly and helpful staff. One of the best things about this hotel is the roof top terrace overlooking the city with a great view of... More

Nothing in that hotel to remember. Completely colourless. The only good was the position, really close to the centre of town, but if you need a romantic place for you and your love then you must choose another one. Also I think it was expensive. I mean the value of money. Anyway I must mentioned that the staff was really... More

The staff can't do enough. Came and got our cases when we arrived. We were given a free bottle of Prosecco on arrival, which was enjoyed on the terrace which had stunning 360 views. Everywhere was spotless and modern. The bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast, buffet style with a good choice. The lady that runs it is a little scary... More

I will first start by saying that the hotel is at the top of three flights of stairs, so if this is something that might concern you look elsewhere. However, if you are planning to climb both the Duomo and the Campanile, three flights of stairs is nothing and the view from the rooftop terrace makes it well worthwhile. The... More

When the service ask if you need help with the suitcases, hell say yes! Once you are upstairs, everything becomes better. The service was so nice and polite! The rooms are lovely, and the mini-bar is for free (no alcohol, though). The view from the top of the building is wonderful. It is located in the very center of the... More

Staying in Duomo

Neighborhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
