Hotel Bretagna is an unusual hotel. It is located in an old building and shares it with other activities like lawyer office and a consulate. I stayed there with my family and the hotel give me an antique and enormous room. It was very exciting to stay in an old but very charming room with old afrescos. I really recommend... More

Great place To stay, very well located, if lucky u can have cool rooms. The only downside.. Is the hotel carpets and lighting. They should renovate that To give it a more fresh and intimate experience otherwise great! More

Great value for money; fantastic location and tons of character in an older building right on the Arno Riverfront. Breakfast is less inspiring and a little crowded - but that just leaves more room for the delicious food later in the day around Firenze. More

First off the hotel is in a great location, its right on the Arno and is central to pretty much everything in town. The furthest walk you will have is if you walk to see David in the Accademia, which will take around 20 minutes, everything else is within a 10 minute walk. We stayed in the historical suite and... This is definitely one of those, as are a lot of hotels in Europe, that were private apartments converted to a hotel. You walk into a cheery reception and you can relax in their old style, with leather sofas living room. The bedrooms are quaint but comfortable and clean. The staff are friendly, patient and accommodating. I will definitely go... More

We truly enjoyed our 4-night stay in mid-Nov. The location is great, the river view is magnificent, and the rooms were very clean. The bathroom in our room was modern and very clean (the most important thing, IMO). The beds weren't extremely comfortable, but seem typical for European accommodations. The true stars of this hotel are the front desk staff... More

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Bretagna. First, I want to thank the front desk staff, Julia and both Martinas for their kindness and courtesy. When Julia gave me the opportunity to upgrade to a room with a view of the Arno, it was an easy decision and still very reasonably priced. They gave me maps of the... More
