The rooms are super nice and spacious especially the ones decorated in the year 2007, these are the ones facing Arno. Others are smaller and do not have a special view. The prices may be a little high depending on the season, but it is worth it.

Chose this hotel because of its location- walking distance from the bus station. The hotel is situated along the river and within the tourist attractions. Rooms are a bit ancient but huge for Europe standards. Wifi is available.

Good location (100 meters from ponte veccio). Room is huge (you feel like a room palace) but a little bit old and the bed it could be better. The wifi signal does not reach room number 6 (the one farest from reception). It is good if you are travelling by car since they have a parking lot in the hotel... More

Me and my girlfriend stayed here back in June and was worried about being given the Annex as our room as all the negative reviews on here. We was then given it and was not disappointed. Yes it is in a separate block and you do need to walk for breakfast but that's worth it for the standard of the... More

The staff at Hotel Bretagna were exceptional and available at all hours. Location beside the river and within sight of Ponte Vecchio is ideal for walks through the center of the city. Our room had high ceilings and plenty of space to move around. It was charming and functional.

We stayed for three nights and found Hotel Bretagna to be clean and the rooms large and well appointed. The hotel is on the riverfront close to the Ponte Vecchio and Uffizi galleries. Excellent location for walking and discovering Florence. Great breakfast set us up for the day's activities. Would definitely return. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would have... More

the location is PERFECT, staff were exceptionally helpful and pleasant, awesome breakfast, we got a big room with amazing view to the river - made our stay in Florence all the more great :) cons - facilities a bit old, parking pricey (25 euro a day, but we didn't find anything much cheaper in the city so its unavoidable..)

Staying in Uffizi

Neighborhood Profile
Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
