I had a great time staying here. The hotel staff are very nice, you can always ask them for tour informations and they have several kinds of tour brochures. It also has great view of Ponte Vecchio. I've got nothing to complain about, really. I stayed in (probably) the biggest room they have, it's really really spacy and I think... More

Have just returned from a magical weekend in Florence. This hotel was a wonderful find. Situated on the banks of the Arno with amazing views, a beautiful old building where you could imagine yourself living a very grandiose life in days gone by! Not everyday you have your breakfast in a room with the most beautiful frescoes looking down on... More

Hotel Bretagna is a historic building sth that got our attention. The room was very big and beautiful renovated without losing the antique touch. Lovely fresco on the ceiling, new bathroom, the service was good too with helpfull receptionist. The location was great .The only complain is about the breakfast, unfortunately they got a very bad coffee and urgently they... More

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for your review on Trip Advisor. We really appreciate all positive points you have mentioned in your feedback. We have to report as an inappropriate the picture you put of our breakfast room. The photo was taken almost 3 years ago and since that the breakfast room was COMPLETELY RENOVATED (see the photo on... Florence has so much to offer, that all that one is looking for a hotel in here is primarily three things- First Location, Second- comfortable bed for some rest, Lastly- a good breakfast to set you for the day. This charming little hotel on the banks of the river Arno, with a view to the Ponte Vecchio scores best for... More

The receptionist was at pains to point out ours was a small double. Well the room sports a king size double bed. So no complaints. Receptionist couldn't have been more helpful, she directed us to Osteria a v gd restaurant nearby too!! I've reviewed it on tripadvisor.

What a beautiful spot for a hotel, right on the river, near the Ponte Vecchio bridge. Extremely close to all of the major attractions; Uffizi, Palazzo Pitti all of the major shopping streets, we couldn't have been happier. The staff were so helpful and cheery, they brightened the day. Breakfast buffet had a great selection of foods; croissants straight from... More

We have just stayed at the Bretagna in Florence. Location was perfect. From the moment we checked in until we checked out, the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. Our room (room # 8 ) was very big in size with high ceilings and old world decor. Breakfast was very substantial and delicious. The view from the balcony at reception... More

One of the best locations in Firenze. A modest and clean hotel, with a kind and helpful staff. A precious little balcony at reception, overlooking the Arno and the Ponte Vecchio. I recommend this charming hotel in the historic centre of the city.

We just left the hotel today morning... wow, nothing to criticise! The location is great, the hotel has a small balcony with direct view of the ponte vecchio, we even bought something to eat and a bottle of wine, and they allowed us to stay at the balcony, enjoying the view. We had some issues with the airline, as we... More

Very pleased with unpretentious yet clean, comfortable hotel. Staff friendly, helpful professional in all areas. I had a single room with decent sized, small double bed and newly refurbished bathroom. I loved the little balcony at Reception with geraniums overlooking the Arno. Only big enough for 2 though.
