Our apartment was large and clean and what we were looking for during our 8 day stay in Florence. It is a little out dated but for the price, we found it very comfortable. The staff were always helpful, especially when I needed to find a Dr for a sore leg. The kitchenette was a real bonus, with a sizeable... More

Receptionist was helpful and accommodating. Large bath with shower and good water pressure. Very little street noise. Other than that, this place is this place is a creepy and dumpy. The "official" photos do NOT portray the rooms accurately. The apartment itself was large, I'll give them that. But the furnishings, carpet, drapes, and linens were old, worn, and in... More

The appartment is average. The furnature is dated and could use a fresh look. This furnature is from the 70's or 80's. The matresses were a little thin and you could feel the springs. The pillows were thin and unconfortable. You could hear the neighbor showering from our bedroom. The room layout was nice but it loked dated so it... More

Although the location is quite good, the appartements are very old. It all looks like its build and designed in the 80's. Rooms are old and out of date. Beds are clean but sagged. Only 15 minute walk to the city centre and nice places to eat closeby. Won't be staying here again. The residence has its own parking spaces... More

Pros: Very nice, spacious rooms. Comfortable bed. City center is very near . Nice bathroom. Clean towels. Well equipped kitchen. Would stay there again. Cons: We almost missed our train because there was no recception when we left, cleaning lady let us in the establishment A bit pricey.

This residence is very good value to money especially for long stay. There is a kitchen with all cooking utensil you would need, big living room, spacious bathroom and bedroom plus balcony. Two drawbacks we experienced 1) Check in time is a pain. We experienced by ourselves and heard from other guests that the residence is hardly able to deliver... More

This place really is just average. It is close to transport and a very good price. Having a kitchen is a huge bonus as well and the living room is nice. There are just a few too many issues to go along with it. Noise is the big one. There os mo soundproofing at all. You can clearly hear the... More

We stayed here for 8 days and were located on the 5th floor overlooking the parking lot away from the potential noise of the street. Our apartment had not been upgraded as shown in the photos on www.venere.com but were comfortable enough. On the table when we arrived was a little basket of helpful goods to set us on our... More

We went in late October and got amazingly lucky with the weather. We hired bikes from "Florence By Bike". Got a couple of road bikes for €30/day. Absolutely fantastic idea. Able to see "real" Italy. Cycled to Sienna, Fiosole & Impruneta. Just beware that Florence is somewhat in a ditch. Cycling anywhere requires a long slog up some nasty hills.... More

I stayed 2 nights in this hotel in September, 2012. As for the rooms, they look much prettier on the pictures, than in the real life. When you see them, it's hard not to get a somewhat despondent feeling: colours are dark and don't look right togehter, the furniture, surely, has seen better days. But I didn't care much, since...
