We really enjoyed our three night stay in Florence Chic. To start with, Stefano replied promptly to our emails and waited for us till 1 am to check in after our transport was delayed. Both hosts were really warm, friendly and helpful, incl with restaurant recommendations (La Bussola). The rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable, with large windows and high... More

The staff was very hospitable, the breakfast delicious homemade fresh for us each morning, and the facilities right in the center of Florence. I think the best part of our stay was being within minutes of any of the sights. We took a bus one day to go to San Gimignano and other than that, we never used any transportation.... More

I stayed at the beautiful Florence Chic for 3 nights in February and loved it. The hosts Steliana e Stefano have a very lovely welcoming presence and were very helpful with anything needed. A big variety for breakfast is served in a lovely room. The rooms themselves are extremely clean, comfortable with a gorgeous decor. The location is perfect, all... More

Florence Chic is a beautiful boutique style B&B! Perfect central location in Florence, you can walk to pretty much everywhere. And close to Firenze Santa Maria Novella train station. It is owned by such a lovely couple who are very friendly, helpful and prepare a delicious quaint breakfast in the morning for the guests. The B&B is situated on Via... More

We visited Florence for 2 days as a wedding anniversary with my wife. As we stepped in the b&b immediately we had an upgrade to a very chic room, spacious and with all the amenities plus free wifi. The b&b is centrally located and all you need is strength to go around and visit this "museum" city. I would definitely... More

I give Florence Chic a good review. The bed was very comfortable and was a double bed rather than two twins shoved together. The room was clean, and decorated nicely. The host couple were very helpful and when we needed a taxi at 5am, they arranged the taxi the day before and also they prepared us an early breakfast for... More

Recently my wife and me have spent 4 days in Florence and we consider ourselves lucky...not only because of the exquisite charm of the city, but also for the quality we found in Florence Chic. Very well placed, in the near vicinity of Piazza da Republica, an old stylish building with the B&B at the first floor. Florence Chic is... More

The location is perfect, in an old and elegant bilding, near Piazza Republica and Piaza Signoria. Being open at the end of august, everything is new and clean, the breakfast was rich and very good and the staff is friendly. We will repet this experience!

Staying in Duomo

Neighborhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
