As an agency that offers this villa to our guests we diligently follow up with them to seek their detailed feedback as to the quality of their stay. So far my clients, who are well travelled and discerning people, have raved about the experience, loving the setting and the property itself, the staff, food and overall experience. Rignana, is located... More

Reading through the other reviews here I wonder if we stayed to at a different villa. Arguably the grounds were splendid and the staff were friendly. A cloud cast over our trip was the owner Alessandra. Her touch is everywhere and unfortunately we found her rude and extremely unhelpful. We found the rooms a little tired as well. When you... More

We are confused and concerned as to the nature of this review. Given that the reviewer in question has only written one review we are of the opinion that this is a fake and malicious posting designed to harm our business and insult the manager. Should this be a genuine review we would ask the person to specify what dates... More

My husband and I spent 2 nights at Villa Rignana in October of 2011. It is a stunning property. The decor, the antiques, the gardens, the views, the breakfasts, the service . . . all that you would expect and want from Tuscany! There were no other guests there during our stay, so all was very peaceful. I must warn... More

The location is everything. The staff is kind and they always give you the best welcome. The room servicing was exemplary: every nbight we came home to a room in immaculate condition. But its abiding asset is its location: in the beating heart of the city. Highly recommended. Thank-you. we definitely return.

Villa Rignana is a cross between renting your own villa in Tuscany and staying at your rich relative's mansion. So many times during our stay I looked up, or out a window, and thought I was looking at a backdrop for a movie filmed in Tuscany. To sit in the lounge chairs on the back lawn, with the Tuscan sun... Villa Rignana is a "house party" yilla rather than a luxury villa. The main bedrooms are adequately comfortable and probably very appealing if you love four poster beds. The bathrooms - actually there are only showers - function adequately and are quaint. The outdoor terrace is excellent with great views and to be shared with the owner's dogs (she says... More

Finding Rignana was a fluke. I came across the positive review of an ex-colleague of mine on Trip Advisor and decided to trust him. For our honeymoon we had decided to experiment Tuscany by staying in its beautiful launching pad and use our residence as a launching pad to our Tuscan discovery trip. From the moment we reached Greve-on-Chianti (because... More

My wife and I stayed at Villa Rignana along with another couple for about a week. I usually don't like to over hype things so as not to raise expectations and disappoint people but Villa Rignana is one of the BIG reasons why our trip to Tuscany was so unforgettable. Let me preface my review with a few comments. For... More

This was my second visit to Villa Rignana, and by far one of our finest family holidays. As a family holiday destination it is easy, and above all, beautiful. Effectively we had the run of the Villa and full use of the entire grounds. The surrounds are beautiful with magnificent walks and beautiful hiking or running trails. Surrounded in all... More

stayed at the villa on recommendation from friends who stayed last year for two weeks. My wife and I were totally taken aback by the villa, grounds and ambience. This is an enchanting piece of classic tuscan countryside. Everyone in the family from our two year old through to our grandmother throughly enjoyed their stay. I cannot thank the hosts... More
