The good: Reception staff was very accommodating/friendly. They spoke English, which was good for us. The view from the breakfast room truly is beautiful like the pictures. The location was good and a reasonable walk to the Duomo. Breakfast was acceptable. The not-so-good: We stayed in a number of hotels throughout Italy and this was our least favorite. The room... Thank you for commenting. We are keeping on improvements year after year, but, yes it's not a new building. The stairs to get to the Hotel don't belong to the property, they are a common part of the building that is a XIX century building. Kind regards, Cristina More

Stayed for two nights and was glad I wasn't there for a third. Inital impression when I entered the grubby hall stayed with me throughout my stay. Room was basic but clean, however the bathroom was good in comparison to the room. The dining area even with its superb view is also shabby, did not stay for breakfast the second... More

Thank you for your comment that allows me to explain: 3 stars doesn't mean luxury, and we are not a luxury hotel. 3 stars means you can offer determine services such as fridge in the room, at least 12 hours reception and so on...We can offer all the requested services for the 3 stars and also a bit more (... This is a standard 3 star hotel which gets 2 stars for a couple of reasons. I will first list the good things. The beds aren't too bad. The staff are nice, helpful and speak English. There is a free, easy to use safe in the reception. The breakfast was mostly good, with a nice view. A small bar in... More

Thank you for commenting. Actually we are not going to adjust the air conditionig : 24°C is the minimum allowed according to European rules, we are awared many don't follow these rules, but we do as concerned to the enviromental issues. Anyway, if you google in English the reccommended temeprature of air conditioning for health and comfort ( let's a... More

The hotel was very easy to find, on a main road and close to all transport links. It was approximately 10/15 minutes walk from Stazione Santa Maria Novella, and the Duomo. We were very pleasantly surprised by the entrance lobby, complete with a functioning lift, which accommodated two people and luggage comfortably. We were even more pleased to find a... More

All the staff we met were helpful & freindley. The room we had (7)faced the busy road so not much of a view, but on a city short break that is not a problem. The bathroom was a good size with a powerful shower. We had a small silent fridge which was a blessing to store the drinks.Air conditioning at no extra... More

Thank you for your comment! There is a special rate for room with view, as you book the room, choose the room with view and you 'll get it :) Anyway, also if you don't choose a room with view you can enjoy the view from the terrace ( beside the breakfast veranda) Warm regards, Cristina More

I spent 3 days in this cosy hotel, is small but really nice and the view in the breakfast area is amazing, perfect area to have your breakfast. No expect anything fancy but will make your stay comfortable.

As a family of 4 we stayed 3 nights at the Panorama. Our first disappointment was the taxi driver who took us the long way from the station (the return journey on foot with heavy cases took less than 20 mins). Nice friendly check-in, map of the city was high lighted with all the sights plus a recommendation to eat at... More

Thank you for your comment. There is a rule about heating and air conditioning: the maximum of the heating in winter (from a given period) is 20°C, instead for air conditioning the minimum is 24°C . Some simply are not concerned about our environment, we do. Kind regards, Cristina More

Tiny little room, but functional and clean! Very friendly and helpful front of desk staff. The hotel is artsy with paintings on all the walls, fun colors, and very welcoming. The bathroom is tiny as well, but very clean, great water pressure, and it gets the job done! Free wifi throughout, including the rooms. The breakfast was very good, and... More

I stayed at Albergo Hotel in Florence with my mother for three nights in May. The hotel is very well located - within walking distance to everything. The room we stayed in had a very nice view of Florence. The room was small and dark, and the decorations - especially the chandelier made of plastic bottles - were a bit... More

Thank you for your comment. The room you stayed in is regular size for a double according to our law, but I understand what you mea, since the room has 2 areas and the bed part is small, anyway don't forget there is the other one! The room is on the fifth floor and the day light is more than... More

I stayed here in February and It felt so comfy! The location is near walking distance to the museum (where David is), near La plaza and Ponte veckio. Service is wonderful, they helped us get to the locations. Rooms are clean and neat, internet is poor. Breakfast was super good!! Lots of choices to pick, it really gave me energy... More
