Close to city center, but then again all hotels in Florence are close to the city center. Breakfast was limited. Be careful of the marble stairs, they are very slippery. There are only traction prevention stickers on the upper floors, be careful not the fall going down the last floor. Wifi is ok. A/C works greats. Some rooms big, some... More

We stayed here for four nights in late June. The hotel was very cute. We were happy that there was an elevator because our hotel in Rome did not have one and it was hard with suitcases. The room was very clean. The beds were comfortable. The A/C unit was adjustable so you could adjust the angle / speed of... More

This was absolutely the worst place to stay ever. 1. Upon arrival there were about 30 Mosquitos in our room 2. Toilet water kept running all day and night and was very irritating 3. There were holes in the walls and the entire place was completely run down and looked like a hostel 4. Photos on Internet are NOT accurate... More

Thank you for your comment. We are sorry you have disliked our hotel. We are even more sorry your are offending us and judging us and hoping to loose our business and therefore our job. We are not liers: there was just 1 availability, just for 1 day during your stay, and it was a room on the same floor,... More

The room itself is what we expected. The breakfast was good. The main problem with this hotel is the A/C. We stayed there for 3 nights in early June, and it would go up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit everyday. The A/C barely blew any cold air. Upon noticing this, I went to complain and Tony came to the room and... More

Located close to historic center of Florence, I have stayed here many times. Good bargain for such an excellent location, friendly staff, good breakfast, fantastic view of Florence from upper floor/breakfast area. Wifi is often iffy (depending on floor/location in hotel), mosquitos can be an issue in Florence but ask the staff for anti-mosquito plug-in device for your room. AC... More

Thank you for your nice comment! Ok, you won, next time you'll be here you found the A/C can be st up to 20°C... I 've gave up (but still the European rules are on the minimum temperature at 24°C). Looking forward to see you again! Cristina More

We stayed at this hotel for one night. I wish i could've stayed longer. It was quaint and quiet. The place was clean and the service was excellent. I booked it thru Expedia and the reservation included free wifi and a breakfast buffet. It was a feast! The food was fresh and we were provided with a variety of options... More

Thank you for your nice comment!! I agree with you: although I 've never been in the USA, I can notice almost my American guests are expecting more room, not only in their bedroom or bathroom, but even for the elevator. As you told, in Italy we are not used to have so spacious rooms, but in new buildings, not... More

Excellent location, clean and quiet yet so close to everything. Shower is tiny but minor. Staff very helpful and friendly staff. The tip that elevates this hotel to superb is room 36 (they call it a room with a view) your own private terrace where you can almost touch San Marco church. If take my tip and agree then you... Thank you for your comment! Unfortunately we have just 2 rooms with their own balcony ( you was lucky), though many other rooms have a view ( from the window). Anyway there is a terrace with view always open for everyone. Kind regards Cristina More

My husband and I stayed at this hotel in April. It was a great price and the location was perfect. We were close to a lot of the museums and restaurants. It was nice having breakfast included and the view from the dining area was gorgeous. The hotel staff was excellent! They were very helpful and gave us many great... More

We arrived at the Hotel to find that it is on the 2nd Floor of the building which initially was slightly confusing as there was only a sheet of paper informing you of that. The room itself was a good size which was great and all in all it was fine. However every night we all had major coughing fits,... More

Thank you for commenting. In Florence downtown it is usual having hotel at the second or third floor of a building, the information is written on a stand alone support, not just on a piece of paper. We will think about it, if it's better a plate stuck on the wall or a stand alone sign in the middle of... More
