Mariangela was generous with her time and helpful in her recommendations of where and when to hit the major attractions in Florence. The B&B was clean and comfortable and ideally located in the heart of historic Florence--a 10 minute walk from the Uffici, Duomo, etc. Breakfast included sliced meets and cheeses, fresh pastry and cookies, home-made jams and jellies, and... My husband & I ended our 2 weeks touring Tuscany in Florence. We chose Le Stanze di Santa Croce for its great location - the center of Florence. The rooms were spotless and the breakfast delicious. Mariangela is a delightful hostess & very accommodating to all her guests.

We enjoyed both the location, so near the Santa Croce Basilica, and the pleasant hostess Mariangela. The rooms were spotless and the breakfast was delicious. Mariangela gave us helpful advice on restaurants and was kind enough to make reservations. To be recommended.

We spent 3 enjoyable nights in this B&B. The location is perfect, just steps from Santa Croce but on a quiet side street away from the crowds of tourists. The room was quiet and comfortable, good bed, plenty of storage and hanging space, air conditioning. Good breakfast. The proprietor Mariangela is friendly and very helpful. She sent us to some... Excellent location. Beautifully appointed rooms. Charming hostess Mariangela, who is extremely helpful and happy to reserve restaurants, all of which were very good. Breakfast is also good on the terrace which is so pleasant to sit and enjoy.

We are first time (international) travelers since retirement. Our hostess, Mariangela was so thoughtful and considerate; all of our emails were answered thoroughly and expeditiously, and left no detail assumed. Mariangela herself is a seasoned international traveler and knows how to make one feel at home. The rooms were very clean, the bed comfortable, good air conditioning, and windows with... More

Wonderful adventure for my wife and me. First we shopped in the market. Mariangela knew all of the vendors in the market. Then we helped prepare a typical Tuscan meal. And of course we ate it! Highly recommend this experience. Just the three of us

We can not say more than enough about this wonderful B&B located just off La Piazza de Santa Croce. Located right down the road from a former residence belonging to none other than the great Michelangelo, the B&B is an absolutely comfortable and wonderfully decorated establishment. Mariangela is a vibrant host, one with a great wealth of knowledge of her... More

The location is perfect for exploring, just off the square at Santa Croce. Our room was very comfortable and Mariangela a perfect hostess. The highlight was our cookery lesson, three types of fresh pasta including a trip to the local market to buy ingredients.

We enjoyed our stay in this charming B&B. We arrived in November when the weather was misty and or rainy, but we had a great visit anyway. Our room was comfortable and had a small balcony that would have been charming in warmer weather. The breakfast room can be an open-air terrace in the fine weather. We appreciated the careful...
