Hotel Burchianti, honestly can't say enough wonderful things about this hotel. From the moment we found the hotel we were greeted warmly at checkin - we were escorted to our beautiful room for four. The rooms are decorated with delightful paintings on all the walls and ceilings. Asking for a bag of ice for our daughter was never seen as... More

Please keep in mind that these accommodations share a space in a palatial building with other businesses. In order to enter, ring the doorbell. Reception will see you on their camera and buzz open the interior iron gates. You will see the large staircase on the left side. In front of the staircase is a small elevator. Go up to... More

This hotel is nicely situated near all the action. It isn't far from the Duomo and it's an easy 10 or 15 minute walk to the Uffizi Gallery, Palazzo Veccio, etc. We had a little trouble finding it because there's just a small sign on the outside, and we missed it the first time past. But of course once you... More

Really loved this boutique hotel just 10 minutes from the train station about the same from the Duomo. The room with a fresco on the ceiling was spacious and the bathroom was modern and bright. Very nice breakfast. Certainly plan to stay here when I return.

I stayed at the Hotel Burchianti with my husband and two teenaged daughters in March. What a wonderful spot! Our room had beautiful frescoed ceiling and wall. The room was very comfortable and we loved the reception room. Very relaxing and welcoming and the breakfast was a great start to the day. Can't beat the location - a 5 minute... More

Stayed with my husband and 11 year old son for 2 nights. Beautiful room with glorious painted ceiling, great reception, hotel hidden behind large iron gates. Location was ideal for getting to and from the train station (5 minute walk) and for all the sites within the amazing city of Florence. Breakfast was lovely whilst listening to background classical music.... More

We just stayed here for 5 days and really enjoyed it. Painted ceilings are great and the room was comfortable with plenty of space. Really close to everything and convenient to shopping and restaurants. Make sure to go upstairs at the market. Staff really helpful and seems to genuinely care for the guests. Loved the breakfast with the calming music.

This pensione is located in a 400 year old luxurious residence in a wonderful location just blocks from the train station. With a handful of lovely ensuite rooms, a nice breakfast buffet, high fresco ceilings, old world elegance and family run… this is an excellent value for the money. Management and staff were wonderful and very accommodating. There is even... More

The great advantage of this small hotel has to be its location. With 5 mins walk to the historical centre and another 5 mins to the train station the location could hardly be any better. As regards the hotel itself, it depends on what your expectstions are. It has the basics right. It is clean, has rather large rooms woth... More

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Burchianti! The room was large, beautifully decorated with gorgeous frescos and super comfy beds (not 2 twins pushed together which is, unfortunately, the norm in Italy). The proprietor, Mario, was lovely and extremely helpful with helping us navigate the streets with a car (some streets are non driving zones). He is so hospitable... More
