Stayed here in Florence and it's got character. Our room was over the street so a little noisy but we loved experiencing the sounds of Florence at night... The best food I had in Europe was at the restaurant next to the hotel on the left side and we had a great lunch in the cafe to the right. Please... More

I stayed here with my mom and aunt on a 3 day trip to Florence. The room was spacious enough for all three of us, but did require walking up several stairs to get to the room. The room and bathroom were nothing fancy, but were clean and comfortable. They offered a nice selection of foods for breakfast. The location... More

Perfect location in Florence. Walking distance to everywhere. Family hotel and they are so friendly and accommodating. I always come back here every year. Rooms are comfortable and breakfast is great. For being in Italy this hotel is in a very centralized location.

Good location in walking distance to all the sightseeing attractions. Large room with nice bathroom, minibar, aircondition and free Wifi in the room. Helpfull hotel staff. Breakfast was not good, but ok. Good value for money, given the location.

Hotel Accademia is in a super location. The hotel is just a 10-minute walk from the train station, and easy 5 - 15 minute walks to key Florence sights (Accademia, Duomo, Uffizi, Bargello, etc.). A laundromat and mini-supermarket are just a few doors down the street from the hotel, and the Mercato Centrale is just a few blocks away. The... More

Lovely old hotel. We stayed for 3 nights in a triple room with an ensuite bathroom. Air con not working the first night but this was soon fixed and our room was lovely and chilled on the second afternoon which was a welcome relief from the high temperatures of Florence. The beds were really comfy and clean. Room cleaned every... More

Arrived at this hotel by train from Pisa. The tickets cost €8 each and it took less than an hour. The hotel was just 10mins from the train station. Had to use my phone and google map as there are warren of streets to navigate. The hotel sign is not very noticeable at first. Hotel was on the 2nd floor... More

We stayed here for 3 nights. The price is very good for such an amazing location, right next to all the attractions. Definitely worth paying 20€ extra compared to similar standard hotels further out from the center. The service is very friendly and positive. Good, cold European continental buffet included (do not expect a US style buffet breakfast) that will... More

We spent 2 nights in Florence and the location of this hotel was terrific. It was a short walk to the Duomo which was in a plaza surrounded by by shops. It was also about a 15 minute walk to the Ponte Vecchio, which is a must visit.

The hotel was located just a short walk from the novella train station on a side street that oozes old school retail cache and is near the Duomo. It was Mayday weekend, a holiday that doesn't exist in faraway Texas, and room availability in the city was thin. Though the room was expensive I was thinking "lucky me"--until we checked... More

San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo’s lively merchants shout out from behind stalls with an array of products in one of the most traditional neighborhoods in Florence. Different ethnic groups join together in the large outdoor market of San Lorenzo and in the Central Market, a vast multi-floored building.
