All main sites were easily accessible yet it was very convenient for the train station. The hotel had many more facilities than expected & the owner & staff were very pleasant & helpful. There is a small lift for those who find stairs difficult. All in all, it was a perfect place to stay. more

Yes, they offer a bed and a breakfast but it is not a B&B in the traditional American definition. The check in desk is located on the 3rd floor (Italians consider it the 2nd floor) of what looks like an office building in between a Chinese restaurant and an internet cafe so you can easily walk past it as there... more

Stayed in Maison de Charme for 4 nights from 4/10 till 8/10 and everthing is above average, the owner of the b&b Florio and the other lady called Francesca had been extremely helpful during our stayed,no negative thing about this little place,we knew that the lift is tiny,as we walked up to our room most of the time,so it doesn't really... more

We used Florence a base to tour Tuscany and staying at this hotel fit nicely in the plan. It is right across the street from the train and bus station so was very convenient for quick day trips. Plus, since Florence isn't that large we were in walking distance of all the sights there as well. The room is on... more

My husband and I stayed at this lovely B&B for 4 nights in May. The location was fantastic, right by the train station. Florence by no means is a large city, so everything (Accademia, Duomo, etc) was a 10-20 minute walk from the hotel. The room was quite spacious for Italian standards, and included an okay breakfast in the mornings.... more

With some trepidation (based upon reviews on Trip Advisor), we stayed at the Maison de Charme in Florence for three nights in May 2007. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the train station (cross the street in front and turn right - towards McDonalds, then turn left at the first street and it's on the left hand side... more

I highly recommend this hotel. Our family of 4 (2 adults, daughter 12 years old, son 10 years old) stayed here for one night in a quad. The room was not spacious, but was adequate and pleasant. The bathroom was very modern and clean. The balcony allowed us to enjoy a bit of the city scape, but with the windows... more

Just across the SMN train station. A busy bus stop is also situated outside the building. HUGE split-level bedroom with VERY cold floor. (remember to wear bedroom slippers/thick socks at all times) Bed is comfy, adequate amenities BUT heater has a mind of its own. There is also a balcony. Gives the feeling of staying in an apartment building. Breakfast... more

This is a small hotel. Our room had a double bed and 2 singles but with little space to move around. However the owner was very helpful. She gave us directions to get there, helped myself and the children with our bags while my husband parked the car (she had no spaces available as they are shared with another hotel).... more

We stayed here for three nights and found the Hotel to be well located (about five minutes walk from train station. The Hotel room was quite spacious and well appointed with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was modern and clean. There is a safe in the room and it was airconditioned. Our room had a small balcony overlooking the street... more
