Stayed here in July 2014 for our anniversary. Lovely b&b decor was lovely, clean and tidy. Couldn't ask for better service its a family run business which really cares. Really knowledgeable and helpful from where to buy bus tickets, booking tickets for us to popular attractions or great places for dinner within budget. A bit outside tyhhe town but don't... More

At least that's the local folklore concerning this lovely B&B whose origins on this site date to the Middle Ages. Fear not travelers, having recently stayed for several nights we can assure you that the accommodations are vastly improved over what the poet must have experienced. The ground floor room in which we stayed was well appointed, comfortable and quiet,... More

We stayed with Linda over the holidays and had a wonderful time. When we arrived via train we took a taxi to the B&B, took about 5-7 minutes to get there. Upon arrival we were greeted by Nick and shown to our lovely and huge rooms. We had a wonderful room on the first floor. The bed was SO comfortable!... More

A group of 6 of us stayed here for 3 nights in early October, before going on to Siena. The rooms were all immaculate. Linda our host, greeted us with a chilled bottle of wine, and made us all very welcome. The building itself has loads of character - part of it is an old tower from the middle ages,... More

We stayed here for a few nights and found the accommodation excellent and very romantic. The room was lovely and it opened out onto a beautiful little courtyard where we could have breakfast. The guesthouse is situated a little way outside of Florence, which would be a downside if you really wanted to be in the heart of things, but... More

I took my wife to Florence for her 40th Birthday and we spent three nights at Al Canto, just outside of the centre of Florence (a 15-20 min bus ride). This in itself was an advantage for us, as it was quieter and less touristy than the city centre. We visited in late August when it was hot, and our... More

we only stayed a couple of nights here on a family holiday that started in Rome, then Florence and onto Bologna and a drive down the Adriatic coast to Campobasso and stay in San Biase, where we visited our Italian family's for the 1st time in 12 years and Al Canto was as much a highlight as seeing our Italian family!... My boyfriend and I stayed at this fabulous B&B on 19th and 20th June. We found this place through a Groupon deal. It's a 15 minute bus ride from the centre of Florence but the area is a beautiful oasis with lots of character and a few lovely pizzarias nearby. The B&B itself has tonnes of character and elegance and... More

It really is difficult to compliment this place without gushing. But I may have to gush - apologies in advance. We had a tour around the rooms by the family who run the place and all of them are beautiful. Spacious, understated, but designed with the sort of attention to detail that makes a good accommodation first class (the shower... More
