We were here for two nights with a group of friends, effectively renting out the entire facility and had a fantastic time. The rooms are large and bedding comfortable. We found the location to be good: 10-15 walk from the train station and close enough to comfortably walk to the city's attractions but far enough removed to be in a... More

Our first B&B in Europe....very friendly staff, very clean and spacious rooms and a nice size modern bathroom. The breakfast was also nice. It was not as close to the station or town centre as we imagined....perhaps a 30 min walk...a bit far with luggage.....but that's not the fault of the Opera...and taxis were very prompt when called. Would recommend

Just returned from a wonderful few days in Florence. Such a beautiful city, and the best place to stay was the Opera B&B. The Manager kindly waited for us after we were waylaid on our journey due to traffic. We had a wonderful welcome in which he arranged flowers / chocolates and wine as a present from our family to... We (a French-Swedish couple) stayed at this small and lovely B&B for 3 nights and I really recommend this place. Francesco, the owner is making you feel very welcome and can help out with advices and information about how to make the best of your stay in this beautiful city. The rooms are big and the breakfast buffet is nice... More

Opera B & B is a really nice place with great value for money. The rooms are huge and decorated simply but tastefully. However, there was a bit hot in the room, but it bothered us, however, not that much. The breakfast was typical Italian and adequate. A little bread, a little prosciutto, a little cheese, yogurt, etc. Quite okay.... More

Opera B&B was a pleasure to stay at, with being close to one of the main attractions of Florence (Cathedral square) You couldn't ask for more! Very good value for money and clean rooms. Francesco was extremely helpful with guiding us towards the main attractions in Florence and even booked our taxi to the airport for us! The breakfast was... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in October and had a fantastic time. The owner, Francesco, was an amazing host and could not do enough for us. We were originally due to arrive late in the afternoon on a Saturday after the B&B reception is manned and Francesco gave us clear instructions on how to get in, however we ended... More

The place is about 20mins brisk walk to Sta Maria Novella station. If you walk slower, maybe about 30mins. We were skeptical when we first saw the exterior of the house. It's like an old house. But inside, we were surprised because we were assigned to a big room. The bathroom is huge. The beds are comfortable and clean. There's... More

Francesco the owner must be one of the most attentive and friendly hoteliers I have met without being too overwhelming. Although he runs his small b&b single-handedly, he's never too busy to have a little chat. He also gives excellent advice and makes reservations for you. Couldn't ask for better service. The rooms are also superb, stylish and decorated to... More
