I had a great stay at this charming B&B. The owners made us feel welcome, and the room was big, charming and cozy. The breakfast was also very good, and the location is great, in front of the Piazza d'Azeglio, a nice and calm area. I definitely recommend.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay with Massimo and Riccardo, architects and owners of the Residenza Azeglio in Florence. Not surprisingly, the B&B is tasteful and cozy, with beautifully decorated rooms, and is centrally located in the quiet residential Piazza D'Azeglio, just few blocks from the pedestrian area and landmark squares such as Piazza Santa Croce and Santissima Annunziata.... By mistake I was directed to this B&B by a Florentine. The room was dirty, the pillow even worse you could smell years of sweating heads. The people/(owner?) unfriendly and unwelcoming. I forgot an item that has never been returned to me in spite of asking. I

We were looking for a place to stay in Florence and all websites indicated fully booked in most of the places. We managed to get in contact with Michele and Ricardo. They had some availabilities left. What a surprise when we arrived to check in. A beautiful XIXs century house overlooking Azeglio piazza. Michele and Riccardo were there to welcome... More

This beautifully restored villa is one of Florence's best kept secrets. It is located in one of the most exclusive neighborhoods in Florence, in front of beautiful Piazza D'Azeglio, a short walk to the historic downtown, and also conveniently close to the bus stop. Surrounded by wonderful restaurants yet away from the noise of the crowds. Riccardo and Michele are... More

Florence has many treasures and among them is the Residenza D' Azeglio, a delightful B & B located at Piazza D'zeglio, 41. I was in Florence for the month of May attending the Leonardo Da Vinci language school and the Residenza D'Azeglio was referred to me for consideration after having indicated that I was seeking a small B & B... Staying in San Marco

Neighborhood Profile
San Marco
The pleasant atmosphere of this residential area, a stone’s throw away from the Duomo of Florence, surprises everyone. A continuous flow of backpacking students provides the tranquil surroundings for the elderly residents who sit in Piazza San Marco to read the daily newspaper. Home to several universities, including the Academy of Fine Arts, San Marco is one of the most vibrant cultural centers in the city. A bridge connecting the modern cultural activity of Florence to its classic art, represented by the everlasting magnificence of the original David, resonates as a symbol of Florence and of Italy as a whole. Get lost in a Neoclassic world, a journey back in time through historic buildings like Spedale degli Innocenti (Hospital of the Innocents), San Marco church, Basilica della Santissima Annunziata, and natural jewels like the Botanical Gardens.
