There is only one room at Gianna's so you get excellent personal service, including your choice of breakfast served into your room in the morning. The B&B is in a great location, close to the Duomo and Galleria dell-Accademia. The room is spacious and comfortable. Jane, who runs the B&B is very helpful and a wealth of knowledge on the... More

Staying at Gianna's was very comfortable and Jane made it like visiting a good friend! Located close to San Lorenzo (church and central market), Accademia (Piazza San Marco) and the Duomo, the well-appointed apartment is on the top floor of a traditional three story building. Jane makes you feel at home immediately and knows Florence very well. Her English is... More

Stayed at Gianna's B&B for 2 nights in August and everything about it was just perfect, the room was fantastic so spacious with a lovely high ceiling, we loved that it was on two levels! It felt like a real home from home, the welcome was warm and friendly with lots of helpful tips on where to go and what... More

This is the B&B experience of my life. Gianna is just lovely and the room with a nice loft where the bathroom is placed was great. It felt like you were visiting your grandmother who took really good care of you. Gianna showed us where to walk and what to see, she asked us what breakfast we wished for and... More

My daughter and I backpacked through several cities in Italy and stayed at Gianna's B & B for one night. We still talk about the warm reception we got - Jane was so refreshing! The room was spacious and comfy. We will be back!

Just got back from a whirlwind trip through Italy. Stayed at Gianna's Bed and Breakfast. What a wonderful property. Jane was super nice and accommodating and made our stay in Florence wonderful. Lots of helpful advice and helped us a lot. One of our favourite places to stay at on the trip. Breakfast was very generous and delicious.

Not a place I would necessarily go back to. Although the room is pretty spacious, the bathroom is upstairs, you have to negotiate a narrow spiral staircase which makes it quite incovenient at night or for someone with partial mobility. Cereals from a half-open box do not quite make it for an inviting breakfast. A more personable host would have... More

We are sorry you were disappointed with your one-night stay at Gianna's. We will ask Venere/Expedia to provide a more precise description of the room so that future clients are aware that the bathroom is on the mezzanine level. Gianna's is a one-room B & B that offers 3 different types of cereals so it sometimes happens that the cereal... More

The location is awesome and you can get everywhere by foot or there is a taxi stand nearby. The room is clean and comfortable with great airconditioning which was heavenly after a long day. There is a double bed on the ground floor and a single bed upstairs. Beds are comfortable and great. I only suggest you bring earplugs with... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in June. It was so easy to walk around Florence that we actually walked to & from the Train Station to this B&B with luggage - about 8-12 mins walking. The room was nice with plenty of sunlight and really generously stocked, with fruits,. John was very helpful with all the questions we had... More
