After walking up and down the road, we found the room. The host came down and carried our luggage up. Very friendly and offered information on things to see. The room was very clean, small, tiny bathroom. Location was great. Breakfast consisted of some prepackaged foods, some fresh fruits and fresh croissant. We stayed 2 nights, higher price than outside... More

The location is great. They are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are very clean. The breakfast is smashingly good by comparison with the standard Italian breakfasts served in other hotels  The only negative thing; no elevator available, you have to climb up stairs. But we loved this place anyway. I definitely recommend you to stay here.

Nice clean and spacious room in an interesting historic building, very friendly welcome from Valeria, who greeted us at breakfast with her homemade cake. Breakfast is continental and perfectly satisfactory. This is Italy - don't expect a full English! The location is ideally placed in the historic centre of Florence, and just minutes away from many of the places of... More

We stayed here three nights. We arrived early and they shuffled their room assignments, to give us a room very early in the morning. The room itself was huge, the bathroom was updated and clean, the wifi worked consistently and well. The location is great, very convenient to all of the attractions and the train station is walkable. We would... More

I stayed in B&B Cimatori for 4 nights. The location was great, right between Duomo and Uffizi Museum. The owner Domenico was very friendly and helpful. He made my visit a great experience. I enjoy Florence very much and highly recommend B & B Cimatori for its value.

Very pleased with the location of this hotel - right in the heart of Florence and at a reasonable price. Rooms are nice and clean. Small bathroom but that's to be expected in Europe. Receptionist could improve her customer service skills but otherwise a pleasant stay.

Originally booked to stay in the Stanze del David B&B just down the road from this place but was transferred here after a problem occurred in the room I was supposed to be staying in at the Stanze del David before I checked in. I have to say I was really pleased with my stay here. The location is excellent... More

The B & B Cimatori was located in the middle of everything, we could walk to all the places - go right and in 5 min there is Piazza Duomo, go left and in 2 min there is Uffizi and the Ponte Vecchio. Very nice café just across of hotel. Room was clean, only shower was very small. Breakfast was... More

We parked our car in a garage not far away, about under 10 mins walk. Euro 27 per night. Breakfast and internet included but terribly weak and slow. Worst internet connection ever. Breakfast served between 830 and 1030am. Stale soft fruit, plain corn flakes, burnt croissants, jam, butter, tea, coffee, orange juice, chocolate cake, biscuits. Yoghurt and cheese in fridge... Staying in Duomo

Neighborhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
