The service is very personal and welcoming. The surroundings are so serene, the nature is gorgeous and the actual resort is very authentic. We stayed with the extended family and rented two villas with a private pool. It was lovely. We played tennis, went for long walks, relaxed by the pool, played golf, went for a day trip to Florence... more

It's a beautiful hotel/ appartment with great staff, they are nice and interested and want the best for their gasts. You are near Florence and 100 km from Siena and chianti area, which you must visit. You must have a car there. Without a car it's not possible to stay there. The supermarket is about 4 km away. more

I just returned from a four night stay in Monsignor della Casa with my teenage daughter. We had a fantastic experience! The resort/hotel is located just north of Borgo San Lorenzo in a very picturesque area off of SR 302. This proved to be the perfect location for a trip to Tuscany & Firenze. http://tiny.cc/monsignordellacasa All of the city's beautiful... more

We've had the pleasure to have travelled all over Europe while living here on a work assiginment. Of all the dozens of resorts and hotels we've visited, this is our favorite. The location is ideal...pure Tuscan country, but close enough to the main spots. The restaurant at the hotel was reasonable and good...although it was a somewhat limited menu. The... more

First trip to Tuscany, so I don't have anything to really base the above title on, but I have to imagine you're not going to get a better Tuscan experience for the money. My wife and I spent two nights there earlier this month and enjoyed wholeheartedly every aspect -- the food, hospitality, room decor, etc., not to mention the... more

We stayed out in the beautiful countryside in Montsignor della Casa for three nights after a fairly trying time in the air condition-less Hotel Embassy in Florence. We did not hire a car as we like to use public transport where possible and I think this was quite unusual. The hotel is 5-6km (not 2 as it says on some... more

Booking procedure via e-mail, telephone and fax was very friendly and professional. The hotel itself fulfills everything promised on their homepage and even more. The rooms were clean as a good German would expect and nicely heated up for the winter period. The service was very friendly and personal (upon arrival we received a hot cup of tea, an upgrade... more

This was a great escape from the business of Rome and Florence. We had a wonderful time at this hotel. Our room was very clean and spacious. We were honeymooning and it provided the perfect ambiance for us. We enjoyed the spa - hot tub and sauna. We didn't try the pool. Everything was very well taken care of. The... more

We have visited this place now for 5 years in a row and we are always thrilled to stay there. Everything is right there: beautiful surroundings at the fattoria and the wide area around, very friendly and professional staff, nicely in style decorated houses, nice visitors, good food (also excellent restaurants in the near area), enough sports to do at... more

After a really long exhausting trip, we weren't able to check in until 10pm and they welcomed us with a wonderful dinner and made us feel like we just got home. The staff was wonderful!!! Thank you especially to Alessio and Simona who took extra special care of us. Their restaurant is not open for lunch so make sure you... more
