This is a small family owned place with only 6 rooms. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The only downsides was there is no wifi and no breakfast. Other than that it was a great stay!

Hotel Canada was one of the best and cutest places I've stayed in. It was so close to everything--sites to see in either direction and only a block from the Duomo. I felt as though I had been adopted by the woman who runs the hotel, as she opened the door and said, "Welcome Home" whenever we arrived. The two... More

This hotel was very close to the main part of Florence, which meant that the street was quite noisy. Living in a big (noisy) city ourselves, we weren't bothered too much, but if you're used to quiet sleeping conditions, you might be in for a surprise. It was really convenient in regard to getting around though. The bathroom for some... More

Hotel Canada is a great little pension located just a block from the Duomo. Spotless rooms, wonderful staff, great location, very reasonable prices....need I say more? The only downsides are that you need to climb two long flights of steps (no elevator) and they don't accept credit cards. Be sure to book through one of these booking sites.....Hotel Canada staff... Location: When we picked this hotel it seemed a great option because of the placement. And it really is: it has a 2 minute walking to the Duomo, and another 2 minute walking to St. Lorenzo's library. Even considering that nothing in Florence is too far away, it was excellent because we only walked with our suitcases from the train... More

In terms of location, this was probably our best hotel in Italy. It was right smack in the center of everything. We had a bit of trouble finding the hotel but after spending a night, it was pretty easy to locate. When we got tired from exploring, we were able to head back to the hotel to rest, then go... More

The location and room is nice. Bad thing tough you have to be in by 1 am, wich was superboring when we were there just one night and ofc wanted to be out much longer. Cash payment only. The ladie was a bit strange...

Room was big, spotless and pretty. Manager was very stressy and had lots of rules (keys, curfew, toilets etc). It made us a bit uncomfortable, but luckily we were planning on coming back to the room by midnight anyway. The location is AMAZING and totally made up for it. Overall, I'd stay again given the price, but I'd be irritated... More

We stayed at Pansione Canada for 2 nights in October. We were first impressed by 3 main things: 1. location location location - just amazing, write at the Duomo. 2. service - Tina was very friendly and helpful, provided us maps and info and walked us to the room. 3. cleanliness - it looks like the rooms were recently renovated,... We stayed here for two nights, the room was clean and the central location was great but other than that we had no wifi no balcony or terrace, a shared toilet (which is across the reception) wasn't great as the shared shower was also in there so if you needed the toilet and someone was showering well your a bit...
