This hotel certainly was not bad, but the male owner (not sure but I think he is the owner) was very rude. When we checked in we got a room assigned with non-functioning toilet. We immediately notified the owner and he got very mad at us. Het dragged our luggage to the lobby and shouted that we should seek another... More

This small hotel has a great location within short walking distance both of the historical centre and the charming area around Piazza Santo Spirito, where you will find the best atmosphere and some of the best restaurants in the city. The hotel is also just a few minutes walk from La Carraia, where you get the best gelato in town... More

Loved the location as it was close to everything we needed. It was far enough from the hustle and bustle of the noisy & popular Puente Vecchio bridge & close enough to walk to it. The metro was a 10 minute walk away. I enjoyed the light breakfasts each morning. The staff was like family. Our room was comfortable and... More

We recently stayed here for one night and cannot fault it. A lovely room, spotlessly clean and friendly, helpful staff. Our room looked out over the river and whilst there was some noise from the restaurant outside, it did not prevent us from sleeping. No complaints about breakfast. An enjoyable stay and we would stay here again.

A lovely welcome and excellent service from the staff at this little hotel. My room was small and clean with high ceilings; ideal for one person. Bathroom was clean, the shower cubicle was small so a taller/wider person might struggle. My room was along the corridor from reception so it was noisy sometimes, depending on other guests, but not for... More

We picked this hotel as it is very central to all the points of interests, even though the rates were slightly high. The hotel is within 10 mins walk from Florence train station, very easily reached and its facing river Arno. First impression was small and homely feel. It was not busy so the staff promptly checked us in. We... More

We stayed here over Easter , a family of three. The location is great just 10/15 minutes to the Ponte Vecchio and centre of Florence. It is set in a small square facing the river. We had a room towards the back of the hotel on the first floor. It was very comfortable, with a lovely bathroom, shower etc. The... More

Excellent hotel! We travelled with two small children, lots of luggage and a big stroller. Staff was very friendly. Everything was always clean, if something needed fixing the staff was always very helpful. We ordered a crib to accommodate one of our children, and noticed it had a small cut in one of the sides. We let the staff know,... More

First impression was not good. They would not let me check in even a little early. The clerk even gave me attitude about sitting at the breakfast table charging my phone since I couldn't check in. The breakfast is nothing special. Basically, a continental breakfast that you would get in the US. One sort of major issue was that the... More

It faces the river Arno, but on the other side (Oltrarno). It's far enough from the main touristy bits so you're not overwhelmed by the crowds but close enough that a 15min stroll will drop you right in front of the Uffizi. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Ditto for the toilet/bathroom. Our room faced the public car park... More
