We were a family of 4 and we had a quadruple room which was very spacious with a large bathroom. It was always kept very clean. Breakfast was very good with frequent refill of food. Excellent location: close to city centre and train station. Highly recommend it. Wifi service was not always very good.

Me and my family spent a week in Florence and we opted to book online at Hotel Caravaggio. It seemed to have very good reviews. Upon arrival we were greeted very politely and warmly by a very nice Brazilian gentlemen who was very helpful and caring. We booked a room for four people. It was very spacious, extremely clean and... More

The hotel is good, but the wifi is kind of horrible. I couldn't be connected more than 20 minutes without a problem. It's sucks. The location is fine and also the breakfast. The room is small but it wasn't a big deal. My room was at the same floor of restaurant and before and during the breakfast from 7am to... More

Very well located hotel, close to the train and bus station, central market, shops, museums and main attractions. Room was simple but confortable, perfectly clean and with good air conditioning. Bathroom is normally sized for european standards. Breakfast was good (there were even fresh fruits, which is not very common). Very friendly staff. Only wi-fi was a bit unstable. Overall... More

I booked this hotel for a spur of the moment trip to Italy with a friend. We stayed for 3 nights in September 2014. I am glad I found it. It is a small boutique style hotel with older style rooms and furnishings and the smallest shower stall I have ever encountered but the water was hot and strong. The... More

I can't remember how I found this hotel but I am glad I did. The rooms are a bit small and my room had the worlds smallest shower stall - but I would stay there again. Many complaints about the free wifi which are justified but then again it's free. The staff were particularly helpful with directions and suggestions on... More

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Caravaggio. It was easy to access the whole city. The breakfast was good and the room adequate for our family of 4. The staff was helpful and the breakfast was great. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Very good location and ample bed and bath spaces. Breakfast selection is ample. We asked for a quiet location but ended up with the possibly the worst viewing location. It was a second level room facing the back. Looking out from the window is the roof top of a first level section of the building. The room cleaned and supplied... More

This seems to be quite an old hotel although it was very well run and our room was huge which is quite different by European standards. Our breakfast was only ok, on both mornings they ran out of eggs and there was no bread for toast, however, this was a minor inconvenience. The staff were very friendly and we were... More
