We had 3 rooms for our group. All were basic but comfortable.Ours faced the road but noise was negligible. The bathroom was adequate although small but I've had much smaller. The shower was more like a hose but that was peculiar to our room as It is within easy walk (10 mins) of the city centre, Staff were very friendly... More

Nothing special, quite old and with different wi fi signal depending on your room position. But, if you are looking for a cheap place to sleep at, this is a good choice for you. The lady on the reception is really nice, while the man isn't. Good position, 10 minutes from city centre.

First of all I have to say that the room was very nice. It was larger than I expected it to be, and the bathroom was double the size of our hotel in Rome. So far so good. In addition, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was reasonable. However, Florence in June is hot. The room felt uncomfortably stuffy,... More

This hotel is centrally located close enough to make walking the city a breeze. The room was a generous size for european hotels, and included beautiful large windows that you could open and enjoy the breeze and a bit of people watching. To save space in the bathroom, the toilet was located inside the shower, but this wasn't a huge... More

We felt very lucky to have been given the top floor, corner room with a great bancony and view over the city. We sat up there and watched the sun set. The room was very clean and comfortable. We were quite fond of the sweet breakfast and the collection of travel books they have available for guests to consult. Staff... More

We stayed in a quad room which we got at the last minute for a really great price including breakfast. The room was big but the bathroom was too small. Maybe they could have added a bit more space from the room to the bathroom! The water from the shower made everything wet, everything was so close inside. Apart from... More

Having stayed in this hotel some years ago I knew it was a budget hotel however then it was clean with air conditioning that worked! I spent 2 nights here in June with broken air conditioning and a tv that didn't work. It took me several trips to reception to discover that I should have been given remote controls for... More

Pluses: Shortish walk to the Duomo, and had a view of it from the balcony. Minuses: Horrible Horrible sewer smell in our room. Yes, sewer smells happen in Florence. But this was so extreme it made me ill. Air- conditioning did not work in all rooms. The entire 2nd floor was without it during our VERY long 5 night stay.... More
