This hotel is situated near the train station and within walking distance of most of the main tourist attractions in Florence. We were on foot and could not vouch for car parking, but it looked limited. The room was clean and perfectly adequate for persons spending most of their time out in the city. The staff is excellent. This was... More

This small hotel is in the ideal location for walks, shopping and historic sites as well as being near to the station. The staff are very helpful and rooms immaculate. You can also buy drinks from reception at sensible prices. Howvever there is a flight of stairs to reception and if you have a front room the traffic noise is... More

Small hotel but entering is like entering Dr Who's tardis. Up the narrow stairs and the small lobby with a web of corridors leading to very clean nice bedrooms. Breakfast is in the converted cellar and very quaint. Very short walk from main train station and the same from the Duomo, cathedral, and all other central sights. Very pleasant staff.

A central and charming hotel in the heart of the old city of Florence. Rooms were clean, quite big and looked out over the busy street. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was lacking a bit but it gave you everything you needed to make it through to lunch. I would definitely visit this hotel again!

First off - location is excellent and very convenient if arriving at the train station and also for walking to the Duomo and other sights. Very helpful staff at reception and we were able to leave our bags there after checking out. Room was fairly basic but clean and comfortable. Only downside was that the breakfast was a bit disappointing.... More

I've stayed at Hotel Nizza several times over the years, and it has been continually improving (such as, an elevator has been installed and breakfast selections have increased). It's clean and comfortable. The proprietors are multilingual, knowledgeable, and helpful, and clearly care that guests' needs are accommodated. The breakfast is very good (I appreciated that a full Italian-style breakfast was... More

Very nice hotel, no frills but none were needed. Comfortable, clean room, reasonable breakfast and friendly, helpful staff. location was very good, minutes from the station and walking distance from all the sights. I would recommend a stay here for a short break in Florence.

The hotel was very good value and in a great location for access to the train station and to the main sights of Florence. Our room was quite basic, but had everything we needed and although the sound of the street below was very loud, it was well sound-proofed when the windows were shut. The rooms have air-con but you'll... More

Just the job for us. Good price in comparison to bigger hotels and in a really good location for all the sights and the station. We stayed for our planned 1 night and then decided to alter our plans and return for a 2nd night later in the week. Both rooms were clean and with a comfortable bed. The showers... More

We traveled with a 7 year old kid. The room is just nice for the 3 of us. Food and coffee for breakfast are great. The location of this hotel is superb. It's in the middle of everywhere. Near to the train station, duomos, market, restaurants. Friendly workers at the hotel.
