Just got back from my trip to Italy and stayed two nights at Adler Cavalieri. Wonderful accomodation. Reasonably priced, clean, comfortable and close to all the attractions. A must do in downtown Florence.

While travelling by train through Italy, we booked this hotel as the closest hotel to the train station with a spa. We paid way over the odds for the hotel for these reasons. The spa is very poor, a sauna in a cold basement of the hotel. The hotel cost almost as much as a 5 star hotel in central... More

Dear Stuart S., sincerely your review does not deserve any comment, because you and us know the truth. But I suggest you next time to insert a complete review and do not forget to write that you entered into the sauna without authorization when other guests were inside, that you have not paid the sauna service because we donated you,... Pros - Good location and friendly staff Cons - Very uncomfortable bed and twin beds put together to make a double. Expensive stay. No room tea/coffee making facility. No restaurant. Poor room temperature control. Not a 4 star we expected.

I spent 4 nights in this hotel as I had to attend a meeting in Florence. The hotel is very close to the main railway station (<5 min walking time) and close to the center and major restaurants. The room is clean, all amenities working and the people at the reception and at the bar very friendly. WI-FI fast and... More

Very friendly staff, great rooms and brilliant location. Going there feels like a step back in time, partly because it is so tranquil, partly as it is a little 1970s, but we loved our stay and the character this place had.

Very nice hotel in walking distance to all of central Florence. Hotel front desk staff was very courteous and made great recommendations for places to eat. My initial room had a minor problem and a room change was made without hesitation. Very good breakfast is included.

This hotel is located very close to the train station as well as all of the major attractions of Florence. The rooms were fine for what we needed. The hotel staff was very helpful and directed us where we needed to go. Their English was excellent! The elevators were a bit scary and old, but that's okay. Breakfast was very... More

The hotel is nice, a bit old but all the buildings in Florence are old. I think it's a bit overpriced but this is Florence. The room was ok, not very warm but we were not cold either. The shower area could have been more clean but let's say it was acceptable. The breakfast was ok.

Location is excellent but the quality of the hotel is below average. The rooms are small and old. The beds are tiny. Air condition does not work properly. The bathroom is clean but very small. The service is ok.
