walking distance from the center we stayed in a big room with 3 beds, one micro bathroom but nice
Very convenient for walking into town. Noisy at nite. Shower near toilet was a joke. Everything got wet. Bath towels were like a tablecloth. Creepy guy at nite, no English. Wi- fi was 5 euro , didn't work well. Not bad on the wallet.
The only thing to ruin the fantastic Florence experience is that hotel. Very arrogant owner, unbelievable dirty bathroom-to have a shower is an experience-, very dirty room, brooken closets, dirty and very old sheets, towels etc. GO AWAY FAST!!!
to come out of any corner....
This place is simply ghastly, run down and frightening. To sum up: the toilet was NOT working, no shower, but only a shower head above the toilet with the drain NOT working properly. After taking a shower, the bathroom would fill with about 2 inches of water which would take all night to drain....

I just came back from Florence, where the 3 of us- friends- stayed at Boboli hotel. We have a tradition to go there each year in January to profit from sales, butthis year it was a great disappointment to stay in Boboli hotel as the hosting Administrator(Pepino if I am not mistaken) was very unfriendly. Firstly, he didnt speak a...

I stayed at the hotel boboli last summer for 3 nights as part of a "eurotrip" with my friend.
We had booked previous hotels and hostels in madrid, barcelona and berlin, the latter being quite disgusting, so we thought we'd spenda bit more over our budget and go for a hotel in Italy. BOY were we wrong! the hotel is...

I thought the reviews bagging this place were exaggerated, but they are not. The drain in the bathroom was blocked, and as there was no designated shower area, showering with the hand-held shower head flooded the bathroom and water leaked into the bedroom. Half of the light bulbs in the room were either missing or blown. The man on the...

The only thing this place had going for it was the location.
Staff were rude (apart from the young man who works in the afternoons, I think his name was Domarosso).
No working elevator .... you have to carry your backs up flights and flights of stairs.
Credit card machine wasnt working so could only pay in cash.
Our room...

A cheap and cheerful hotel just 5 minutes from the Pitti Palace and 10 from the Ponte Vecchio. You get what you pay for - it was basic, but okay. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Great view from the third floor - pity there was no lift... The bedroom was roomy and had a marble floor. However, the shower...

I couldnt wait to leave this hotel. It made my skin crawl. We were traveling without reservations which worked fine until we arrived in Florence. This was the only place we could find. The rooms were very dated and desperately need upgrading. Same for the common areas and breakfast room. The only thing nice to say is the staff were...
