We traveled across Italy with a group of 8 family and friends. Hands down JK place Florence was the crowd favorite hotel. A beautifully appointed boutique hotel on the Piazza Maria Nuovella. This hotel may be boutique (only 25 rooms), but it had all the amenities, and more, of a large hotel. Rooms were luxurious with large, all marble bathrooms.... More

This may be the best boutique hotel in Italy. Absolutely superb. A few minutes walk from the station and from most attractions. Excellent friendly staff make you feel at home. A number of different lounges in which to eat, have a coffee or a drink. Breakfast included, as were snacks and coffee during the day. Room was of a very... More

I live in hotels. 320 days per year on average spent in top hotels around the world. JK place in Florence is in the top 4 hotels I have ever stayed in. The service level is perfection. Yes, room service stops at 23:00, and that's annoying, but frankly speaking, u don't care because everything else is so good

I know you read a lot of reviews where people say, "omg, this is the best place ever!!!" I won't go so far to make that gross generalization, but I can tell you that when you look at the sum of the parts, this was the most impressive hotel experience I ever had... And I've done my fair share of... More

To choose if you're like boutique hotels, with a warm homey touch, discreet and relaxing. The rooms, with white colour dominating your sight (sheets, pillows, carpet, walls), are relaxing and make your stay extremely pleasant; you almost have the feeling you are not in a hotel. Location is perfect, close to all main sites, museums and restaurants.

My family stayed here at the end of March. We expected much but left disappointed. Good things? The concierge service was top-class (though some of the restaurant recommendations were questionable).. The location was good (but see below re noise). There is a lovely roof terrace (and, as we were leaving, the finishing touches were being given to a splendid looking... More

Just back from 4 nights here. 5 minutes walk from the main train station and 5 to 10 minutes walk to all the major attractions. The team here make you feel very at home with Andre and Lorenzo worthy of special mention because of their helpfulness, but all the staff we dealt with were superbly helpful and seemed genuinely interested... We spent a short two nights at JK Place. Having picked this one over other well known large hotels in Florence, I am happy to discover that this small boutique hotel does not disappoint. Arriving at the train station Santa Maria Novella in the mid morning, the hotel was within walking distance, about 8 minutes. Warmly at the front door... More

Fantastic service! Incredible location! We loved it!!! The terrace has grate food and with good weather its prime location really offers a window on the santa maria novella square and the beautiful church.

I agree with much of what I've read here in the five star reviews. What stood out to me on this stay was that I hesitated to ask about an alternative to the linen sheets (I did not sleep well on these the first night but didn't want to come off as the hyper-pampered, sensitive skin type that I suppose...
