Il Villino was a wonderful surprise after two weeks of suffering without AC. the rooms were elegant and cool. The staff was more than helpful. The breakfasts were great and the overall experience made us want to come back. Thanks Giovanni and staff.

Quite central, yet removed from all the hectic hubbub of Florence. No problem with noise or mosquitos at all. Neri and Giovanni are lovely and friendly and helpful. Will definitely recommend to others.

Average place but we weren't able to get to sleep due to the air conditioner not working and it was so hot in our room. And we were able to hear the guests in the adjoining rooms, who also kept us awake. Bring earplugs. Lack of rest made our few days in Florence unpleasant, we were very tired.

We had an excellent stay. Very friendly and helpful staff, a varied breakfast in a cosy patio outside, clean room and on a 5 min walk from the Duomo, right in the historical city center! If you come by car, the staff will park your car in a parking nearby (cost of 20€/day)

We were kept up all night by mosquitos, called zanzare, buzzing and bitting. The air conditioner did not work. The breakfast was cheap. When we complained, the proprietor got annoyed. Fine, we left and we now voice our opinion here on TripAdvisor. Don't waste your money here, and avoid Residenza Il Villino.

After arriving late and off check-in hours because we lost our train from rome, the staff came back to the hotel just to open it for us and during the whole stay, they helped advising us on which activities and sights to do, even renting a car for the rest of the trip. Could not ask for more, great service.

We arrived at Residenza II Villino by car. We had asked for car parking when booking as we were touring around Italy. We were greeted by 2 guys who were very helpful with our bags. My wife was driving and as the B&B is in a narrow street, parked up and stayed in the car. The young man said he... More

Service was impeccable. Neri was very helpful with museum and dinner reservations and directions. Room was beautiful and quiet; lovely breakfast on the patio. Air conditioner was a little too weak to keep up with the 93-degree heat-wave outside, but otherwise our stay was perfect!

Our family of four stayed in two rooms, one on the ground floor and one on the second. Both were lovely, but the upper room had a balcony attached which was nice to sit on during our afternoon break from sightseeing. The rooms were beautiful and very much in keeping with the renaissance esthetic of Florence. The street it is... More

Residenza Il Villino is a short walk from everything you'd like to see in Florence. But the better part is that it's away from the maddening crowds. After you spend the day queuing up and being pushed around by fellow tourists, you need a place to unwind. A spacious clean room with a beautiful view of the Catherdral dome ticks... More
