Only a 10-15min walk from the train station, Il Villino was a terrific choice for us on a recent visit to Florence. The entire family makes every effort to ensure that you're comfortable and that you have everything you need. We stayed in two rooms during our stay - both were clean and quiet with comfortable beds. Breakfasts were a... More

This was one of our favorite B&Bs in Italy, in large part because of the exceptionally professional and friendly service of Sergio and Elizabetta and their adult son Lorenzo. We had several nice conversations with them and they recommended a wonderful little local family restaurant a few blocks away named the Aquacotta. Their cream of carrot soup was so good... More

We stayed at this B&B for three nights in April and found it welcoming and comfortable. While the accommodation is in need of a little updating, it is very clean and comfortable and has the real feel of Florence. Breakfast, served in a cute little dining room is more than adequate and hosts Sergio and Lorenzo (and Sergio's lovely wife... More

My husband and I stayed at this B&B for 2 nights. We had the top floor with the Duomo view. It was nice, clean, spacious and quiet. Be aware for those who don't like steps or have difficulty with them, this room is 3 floors up. The bed and pillow were comfortable. The bathroom was a good size but the... More

Our hosts Sergio and Lorenzo were fantastic. However, we had the worst sleep here out of all the places we stayed in Italy. We had a first-floor room on the courtyard, and we could hear our neighbors across the hall skypeing with their family in Australia at night. In the morning we could hear all the noise from the breakfast... More

What a wonderful place in location, food and staff. This family is just welcoming, warm, and will do whatever to make your stay enjoyable. When we first arrived, we were given a short tour of the place to orient us to its ammenities We had a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the courtyard. Every morning, we were greeted warmly... I cannot say enough wonderful things about this B&B! From the moment you walk in their beautiful home, you are given a warm welcome and feel at home. Our room was beautiful with an incredible view, an awesome bathroom, great wi-fi, and a mini fridge. Breakfast was delicious! The scrambled eggs were so good, and my husband is still taling... More

My husband and I stayed here in April. Location was perfect, on quiet street close to pretty much everything. We had a room on the top floor overlooking the courtyard and with a view of the Duomo. The room was clean, spacious and quite charming. Breakfast consisted of delicious pastries, scrammbled eggs, yogurt, fruits, and cheeses/deli meats. Sergio and his... More

We stayed at Residenza Il Villino for six nights in 2008. When we plan to visit Florence again in early June this year for three nights, we contact Sergio first. Unfortunately, all the rooms have been booked. As we were their past guests, he booked the reservations for Uffizi and Accademia Gallery for us despite the fact that we could... More

My wife and I stayed here in June. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and in a perfect location. The room was clean and charming. This would have made are stay great on its on, but what made the stay outstanding was the staff. Sergio and the others were unbelievably hospitable and helpful. They were always willing to take the time... More
