Lovely old B&B, full of character. There was also a large comfortable bed which was greatly appreciated!! Nice and quiet and away from it all. A few things to think about though if you are thinking of staying here. It is remote and if you get the bus, as we did, there is still an uphill walk which wouldn't suit... More

I shall most definitely return to this B&B. Although it is possible to take the bus; I recommend a car. It is defiantly quite a trek up and down hill! My room was very comfortable. The breakfast was great. The staff was exceptional!

I loved this hotel, but next time I would definitely rent a car. The view and grounds are amazing and the breakfast is satisfying. Waiting for the bus is a bit scary as you wait against a wall with cars whizzing by. And, I didn't even try to walk up the hill, we took a taxi back each night. We... More

This will not be like your usual 4/5 star hotels stays, the rooms are humble setting with good split system AC units. The breakfast at the outside was good quality and impressive setting. We truely loved it. The only thing is how to reach it, but If have Navigation system you wouldn't have a problem. Very convenient to go nearby... More

Spent five nights here in July 2014. One room for two adults and two teens. The building, the grounds and the location are beautiful. So peaceful. We enjoyed the pool, breakfast was great - plenty of variety. We were very close to Florence, but also had easy access to high ways to get to Siena, Pisa, etc. The hosts were... More

We spent two nights and wish we could have stayed much longer. The hotel is outside Florence in the rolling hills of the Tuscan countryside. Amazing views from the grounds and rooms. The room was very adequate for our needs with room for our luggage and personal items. The bath was a bit small, but clean and updated. The second... More

Our first time in Florence & Tuscany and it was marvelous. This little Gem, Certosa is 15 minutes (by car) from the city Florence. The surrounding was beautiful and it was one of our favorites! It was quiet, green and we enjoyed it very much. The hotel staff were very friendly, they spoke English well. We appreciated their excellent service.... More

My wife and I stay in Florence for only one day and we're sad we could not stay longer. It is located a short bus ride away from downtown florence. It has a spacious room and a beautiful property. Our only regret is we couldn't stay longer. The staff was helpful and polite. We will definitely stay here when we... More

Stay there only one night during our trip around Italy. But it was a night to remember. The hotel is situated among the picturesque green hills of Tuscany. The view from the place is astonishing especially in the morning! The hotel occupies a part of ancient castle with an inner yard, gates and tree-line path. Every minute we felt like... More

We absolutely loved the place! The owners were very helpful and hospitable, the place has a charm and feel of an old castle. The views are breathtaking. The rooms are large with vintage furniture and large nicely appointed bathrooms. The breakfasts were the best, in fact so good - they could carry you through most of the day! (Try their... More
