This is a fantastic hotel! You will enter a rather unassuming hotel that looks like a chateaux set back from the roadside but you immediately realise that it is anything but ordinary! A weird Doctor Seuss like interior with rolling mosiacs circling the reception, leather tiled walls in your bedroom (yes really!), fluoroscent lighting and gothic corriders this is a... more

We were a group of 55 of which 50 were university students arriving in Florence to find that our hotel (Hotel Maxim) was a disaster and we had to leave. We contacted Hotel Vittoria on a recommendation from a friend, and the staff told us that despite having less than one day's notice, they would be able to take us... more

Located slightly away from the main sights but well worth the extra walk. Elegant facade with funky interior. It starts in the lobby with a wonderfully tiled entrance and continues in the quirky bar area and well laid out restaurant. However, the best is left until last - the bedroom. Ours was the executive room - all glass, leather and... more

We chose this hotel because we came across a great deal that included a room upgrade and breakfast for much less than regular rooms where here, or elsewhere for that matter. We definitely weren't disappointed. From before I arrived, the staff was very helpful. I asked for help making a dinner reservation. They came back to me promptly and let... more

Funky design hotel had quirky features like remote control TV in the loos which did not always work...the room lighting was very difficult to figure out and not always practical (ie no reading light for third bed), and the showers had frosted glass walls so the rest of the room could see the person showering! Our triple room was quite... more

We enjoyed everything about this hotel - friendly, helpful staff, great breakfast buffet, clean, quiet room, easy commute to the train station (shuttle or walk) There's a supermarket two blocks away if you want to buy water or anything else - bought 6 half-gallon (2 liter) bottles for 1.5 euros ---for all 6! more

We got a good deal through Travelzoo (half price) and this is reflected in the 5* value rating above. The hotel is about a mile from Firenze SMN train station but it cost us 15 euros to get to the hotel by taxi. (Maybe we were ripped off, but that was the price shown on the meter). We later found... more

Una Hotel Vittoria is a funky stylish hotel. The lobby and the rooms are unlike I've seen before, and the lighting is awesome. The room had comfortable beds and high work tables, and a walk in closet area. The bathroom was fine, except for the fact the the shower was see-through from the rest of the room, so we had... more
