The location is perfect, just a short walk from the train station and to all great sights of Florence. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help. Breakfast was excellent and the free drinks in the evening were an added bonus. Rooms are a bit on the cheap side, we found not working light bulbs and a broken... More

Not only was this hotel in a great location (easy walking to everything!), but the service was very friendly and excellent! The hotel is located near the central market, and all the sights in the historic center, as well as conveniently close to the train station. Each evening, the hotel hosts a small "happy hour" for guests in the very... More

The staff at Hotel Globus were friendly and helpful at all times, the breakfast was good with fresh coffee made to order. Room was not fancy but nor would this be expected for the reasonable price paid for accommodation in Florence close to the train station and the sights. So having ticked all those boxes, the only issue that make... More

We stayed here for 2 nights. Very close to the train and Duomo. However, the hotel was more like a motel. Barely fit our suitcases. I would recommend if you need a nights rest close to the train. Didnt feel too clean and breakfast was meh. Noisy if the windows were opened. Staff was very friendly tho.

I would have given this hotel an average rating, but the helpfulness of the staff and the extras like a free glass of wine each evening (plus nibbles) lift my review to the next level. Four of us stayed in two rooms (303 & 304) for three nights with breakfast - we booked via the hotel website. This cost €715... More

Me & my partner went to stay here and I can't fault them. They changed our room around so that we could have a double bed. When we got there we were very pleased with the amazing central location & the gent behind the desk (one in particular who was on at night) was really really helpful & would do... More

As another reviewer remarked - the website is very flattering. Good points - location, reception staff, neutral decoration, free afternoon coffee/aperitif. My bedroom was very small but bed was very comfy and bathroom good. TV poor. Loved rooftop view from room and the street sounds lulled me to sleep. But ...£157 - way too expensive. A pity as it was... More

Stayed there for one night which was very pleasant. The friendly staff gave good recommendations, the breakfast was good and the room was nice. There is no elevator from the ground floor to the 1st floor lobby, and also the elevator between the floors is a bit weird, but the staff helped out with early check-in and handled our luggage... Not the fanciest room but definitely got the job done. Very nice breakfast and enjoyed the wine and snacks at happy hour each day. Wifi worked well, laundromat just a minute away, and quick walk to the train station and all attractions in Florence. The nearby restaurant La Padellaccia had great homecooked food in a cute courtyard setting. If you... More
