Hotel Colomba was the perfect destination for 4 days in Florence. The breakfast in the morning was perfect and had a huge selection. The rooms were spacious and extremely clean and the location was perfect. The service was what set this hotel apart. I asked how would we get reservations to the 2 popular museums and the immediate response was... More

Stayed 4 nights at the Colomba because I did not want to expend much and had seen favorable reviews in Trip Advisor. Location is excellent, though in the second floor of a multipurpose building. Small but working lift. I had a triple room for a couple just to have more space, and the room was in fact large enough and... More

A comfortable hotel on the second floor of a building in the centre of the historic part of Florence.. Situated in a great location near the Duomo and other major sights. The owners (Italian/Australians) and staff were welcoming and generous with their hospitality. Breakfast was plentiful. The bedroom was basic but comfortable and met our needs. Excellent wifi reception. Overall... More

Hotel Colomba is a typical (or at least it appeared to us) Florence hotel – situated on a renovated floor of a building. It is very well located, close to the Duomo and everything else. It’s very warm welcome and constant assistance made up for it’s shortcomings – very hard beds (good for your back though) and lack of water... More

Close to the train and bus station, breakfast is good. The rooms are ok, but the non-smoking rooms still smell like smoke. Had to ask for a change. Air conditioning is not good....was really hot all night sleeping even on the coolest setting. Its ok for a night.

Hotel was close to everything, yet we stayed in a comfortable, quiet quadruple room. The room was larger than we expected. Breakfast consisted ofhard boiled eggs, croissants, other breads and jellies, cereals and fresh fruit. But the highlight was a fresh cup of cappuccino or regular coffee made to order first thing in the morning!

Rosanna and her family and staff were wonderful. The were all friendly and very helpful. The rooms are very simple, but they are clean and roomy. The towels were even ironed daily! The location was perfect. It was close to all of the attractions. Our room faced the courtyard so it was very quiet. If you are looking for a... More

We had a wonderful time in Florence, much due to the helpful assistance from the staff at the Hotel Colomba. They were ready with directions, helpful with suggestions, and even called to confirm our tours. Sabina and the staff made our stay wonderful. The rooms were very roomy, and the location was walkable to all the sights, the Accademia, Ufizzi,... More

Extremely nice managers and very helpful. Very clean. There is a special agreement with a nearby garage parking. Dont forget to e-mail your car nr. one day before arrival. Just in the center of Florence near everything. Generous breakfast.
