Couldn't be any closer to the Duomo and walking distance of everything in Florence. Rosanna and her family have renovated the 2nd floor of this old building and is just perfect! Very safe and secure and feel like your at home with family. Have a safe and refrigerator in your room. Great window system, classic Euro tilt n turn, for... More

I recently spent 5 nights at Hotel Colomba with my friend. The location and price can’t be beat! It was also great to get breakfast included. My only complaint would be that the wifi was very weak and sometimes didn’t even work. However, we weren’t in the room that much so it wasn’t a huge issue. The beds were comfortable... More

We stayed for three nights. The staff is friendly and very helpful, showing us the locations of all the must see's in the neighborhood. Great location, walking distance from the train station, Dome, Academia, the Medici palace and a lot of other touristic attractions. Clean rooms. Tasteful breakfast.

We stayed here for a second time and it was just as good. Very central, clean, quiet, comfortable beds and very friendly staff (and good coffee with breakfast). It's between the accademia and the duomo, near to the market and not too far from the train station - an easy walk even with bags (if you're coming from the airport... More

We try to visit Italy at least once every couple of years and every trip includes at least a couple of nights at the Hotel Colomba. It is clean, comfortable and cosy. Rosanna and Sabina look after every guest like a member of the family and, especially for an English speaker, their fluency in English and Italian means I can... More

Friends put us onto to this Hotel and we were not disappointed. Roseanne and her staff were extremely helpful at all times and nothing was too much trouble. The bathroom was tiny but otherwise the room was very large and extremely clean & comfortable. It was just like staying with family. Breakfast was great. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting... More

On our 15th trip to Florence (what can I say, we love the city) with a 16 year old grandson, we decided to stay closer to the San Lorenzo neighborhood, instead of near the Duomo. The triple room was very generous in size and had all the amenities one would wish! The desk/family and staff were multi-lingual, I speak Italian... More

My group of eight stayed at the Hotel Colomba five nights while in Florence. Rose Anna and Sabina could not have made us more welcome. It was like our "home away from home"! They made us the best coffee ever and one morning while we were still getting used to the time change( we are from West Coast Canada), Rose... More

This place and the people are wonderful. They are so kind and generous here and willing to offer any help. The breakfast was amazing.... very Italian and authentic. They were patient with our questions. It has a very welcoming and home like atmosphere. Love it and the people.

The hotel is located on the second and third floors of an old building. There is an elevator but it seemed a bit small so the stairs were a good exercise. Two main things in this hotel are the location and the staff and both are great. I can't imagine feeling any more welcome than here. Te hotel is a... More
