We stayed here when we toured a bit of Italy the last time and were there for 2 nights. The hotel is walking distance from most of the landmarks in the wonderful city of Florence. Sabrina the reception lady made our stay as comfortable as was possible, she was always at call to provide the information we needed. I remember... More

Stayed 4 nights at the Colomba. The location is fantastic. We could walk to all the major sights. We were a family of 4 and had booked a quadruple room which was huge and very comfortable. The breakfast was very good. Thank you Sabina for making our stay in Florence so memorable.

Hotel Colomba was the perfect destination for 4 days in Florence. The breakfast in the morning was perfect and had a huge selection. The rooms were spacious and extremely clean and the location was perfect. The service was what set this hotel apart. I asked how would we get reservations to the 2 popular museums and the immediate response was... More

Stayed 4 nights at the Colomba because I did not want to expend much and had seen favorable reviews in Trip Advisor. Location is excellent, though in the second floor of a multipurpose building. Small but working lift. I had a triple room for a couple just to have more space, and the room was in fact large enough and... More

A comfortable hotel on the second floor of a building in the centre of the historic part of Florence.. Situated in a great location near the Duomo and other major sights. The owners (Italian/Australians) and staff were welcoming and generous with their hospitality. Breakfast was plentiful. The bedroom was basic but comfortable and met our needs. Excellent wifi reception. Overall... More

Hotel Colomba is a typical (or at least it appeared to us) Florence hotel – situated on a renovated floor of a building. It is very well located, close to the Duomo and everything else. It’s very warm welcome and constant assistance made up for it’s shortcomings – very hard beds (good for your back though) and lack of water... More

Close to the train and bus station, breakfast is good. The rooms are ok, but the non-smoking rooms still smell like smoke. Had to ask for a change. Air conditioning is not good....was really hot all night sleeping even on the coolest setting. Its ok for a night.

Hotel was close to everything, yet we stayed in a comfortable, quiet quadruple room. The room was larger than we expected. Breakfast consisted ofhard boiled eggs, croissants, other breads and jellies, cereals and fresh fruit. But the highlight was a fresh cup of cappuccino or regular coffee made to order first thing in the morning!

Rosanna and her family and staff were wonderful. The were all friendly and very helpful. The rooms are very simple, but they are clean and roomy. The towels were even ironed daily! The location was perfect. It was close to all of the attractions. Our room faced the courtyard so it was very quiet. If you are looking for a... More
