We stayed at this hotel for a few days while traveling around Italy. Here are some pros and cons: Pros: Location- convenient if you are traveling by train or bus. Also only takes 5 minutes to walk to city center and you are within a 15-20 minute walk of all sites Wifi: they had reasonable wifi in the room which... More

While we would not rate it four star, it was pleasant enough. Our room did not have a view, instead looke on to a tiny internal space. Fortunately this meant that we were not troubled by the noise from crowds and performers in the unseasonal heat in the nearby plaza. There are countless restaurants nearby but be aware that the... The Domus Florentaie Hotel was a quick decision for our family of four in Florence. We had a spontaneous opportunity to spend an overnight and we were not at all disappointed. The quad room was clean and beds comfortable. The front desk service was helpful and polite. Breakfast bar was included. Great location for central Florence. Walking distance to everything.... More

Both the room, beds and bathroom were clean and comfortable - we were very happy with the hotel. Located less than 10 min walk from the station (important when you've got luggage) and right on Piazza Santa Maria Novella - it's central location made it easy to get to places, less than 10 min stroll to Mercato Centrale where we... The Domua Florentiae hotel is an amazing stop for those visiting the city. Between the fantastic service, cleanliness and warm hospitality-it was a great time! Also, It is within walking distance from the train station, and as most everything in Florence-within a brief walk of almost anything-especially the breathtaking views of the river and Ponte Veccio bridge. I would definitely... More

This hotel was just okay. It is older but very well kept and clean which is most important to me. The staff was very welcoming and pleasant. Breakfast was simple nothing extravagant but you can't expect much when Breakfaat is included. Wifi worked pretty well. The downers for us was the shower water pressure which was pretty bad and the... More

Let's start out by saying this hotel is rather old, and is not luxurious is any way and that might turn some people off at first, but it is well maintained and the location cannot be beat for the price. Don't count on high speed wifi as it was really slow and almost non-existent. It's an easy 5 min walk... More

As soon as we stepped into the foyer of the building our Heart sank. It was dark and dingy and unwelcoming. The reception is on the first floor and i don't think the sofas in the reception have been changed or even cleaned since they got it there. Our room which was to have a double bed turned up as... Dear Guest, it's really hard to answer remaining educated to a review like yours. We know very well the reason for your review so negative and with a blatantly false elements: You wanted a room with a double bed, but at your arrival discover that your agency booked us a room with 2 single beds, as specified on the vouchers... We stayed in 3 star hotels in Naples, Florence, and Rome. This by far was the best 3 star hotel out of them all. It made it feel like a 4 star hotel compared to the others. Great view next to the piazza. Amazing central location, making it a quick walk to anywhere you want to go. Super short walk... More

Fantastic location, very handy for train station & Duomo. Everything in Florence is walkable from here. Receptionists were incredibly helpful with our missing luggage, even pointing out best places to shop for emergency clothes purchases. Wifi works brilliantly in rooms, unlike some hotels. If I have to be picky, the breakfast could have been a bit more substantial, but there... More
